The Villas at Emerald Bay opened in 2009. Villa #8 has a private pool, hot tub, BBQ, a large screen TV in each bedroom and living area. Each bedroom has a private bath and lots of closet space. The villa is located on a beautiful 18-hole golf course. All amenities of the Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Resort are available to Villa renters. The future Club House is located in close proximity to our Villa #8. A great place for families, especially kids. Being a part of the Pueblo Bonito at Emerald Bay, it is private and gated. Only registered guests may enter the grounds. The concierge staff for the villas is very accommodating and helpful. Just ask, and they'll take care of your request promptly.

This property was amazing! We slept four adults and six children very comfortably. The villa and resort were luxurious. We enjoyed swimming in the private pool, the resort pools (the best in Mazatlan!) and in the ocean. The beaches were fabulous. I was worried that the resort might be crowded with college students on spring break, but it wasn't at all! This is a very family friendly resort. There were times we had the beach practically to ourselves. As villa guests, we were definitely given VIP treatment by the staff. We really did have the best vacation ever here!
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We spent an amazing week at the Villas in March. We could have stayed forever!! The Villa itself is beautiful, with your own private pool out the accordian glass sliding doors. Beyond the pool is the well kept greens of the driving range. Each bedroom has it's own private full bathroom.. large bedrooms if you just need to get away for a while. (Our group had 8 and we never felt "crowded"). The large kitchen was great for eating-in and group meals. All of the appliances were updated and very well maintained.. we had a problem with the ice maker, within 10 minutes we had a repair man and a 10 lb. bag of ice. (All of the employees were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable) We thought we would never leave the Villa, then we took the short walk to the Emerald Bay Resort. Breathtaking... I do not know how many pools there were all together...gorgeous, clean and overlooking the ocean. Lawn chairs, swim up bars, incredible food, great margaritas, the ocean breeze...ahhhh, paradise. Our children loved the pottery stand that is pool side (paint your own pottery.. I think the adults enjoyed it quite a bit also!) Our children ranged in age from 4 to 10, they were happy swimming, beach-combing and studying the resident iguanas. They did offer games and other entertainment, we really enjoyed hanging at the pools. I know we were never bored. We went into town a couple of times, which was fun, but it was so relaxing hanging out at the Villa and the Resort, we did not want to leave. I highly recommend the Villas! We would love to go back! I would recommend looking at the website of Emerald Bay Resort... it is amazing and everything is so close to the Villa.
