Windsor Castle can be seen from adjoining country Lane.It is 3 bedrooms detached house,pretty maintained gardens with safety fence along the river side.
The House has a 280 sq feet of airconditioned integral conservatory over looking the river,spacious integral pretty decking.The house has 2 bathrooms with power showers, one ensuite, also a cloak room. The luxuriously furnished lounge is very sunny and spacious, with excellent views of the river. There is Plasma TV 42' in the lounge, There is 37" LCD TV in the Master bedroom, two SKY movie packages.In the study is available broadband wireless internet connection.

Wonderful UK Location For Families Large or Small

I brought my wife, two young kids (3 & 2) and their nanny to the house for a week stay in May. The location right on one of the canals is wonderful and we watched boats passing through everyday. We rented a car (which you will need since this house is a few kilometers off the main highway) from one of the companies at Heathrow Airport (15 minutes away) and having the vehicle made it easy to get to/from all the great places we visited (Windsor, Brighton, London, Legoland, etc). The nearest town (Old Windsor) has a couple grocery stores, an Toby Carvery (restaraunt/pub) and some nice take-out joints which helped us keep variety in our eating each day and enjoy some meals in the house. Windsor is beautiful....we caught the horseraces at Windsor Racecourse on Monday night and had a great time! The castle is beautiful, but strolling through the town (across the bridge over to Eton) is a real pleasure and such a lovely place to visit. Some great shops in Windsor along with lots of food options. Lots of parks around Windsor for our kids to run and play....along with a great little park in Runnymeade (near Old Windsor) where the entire town rolls-out to get sun, play, eat and enjoy boats in the canal on Saturdays and Sundays (when weather is good). The location and accommodations made the trip very memorable for me and my family and we are appreciative to the owner for allowing us to stay there. Well appointed house, very comfortable and we would definitely rent from this owner again in the future.
