Our condo has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation on the beach. The island of Longboat Key is one of the most beautiful places in Florida. Longboat was voted the second most favored island in North America, according to a survey by a nationally recognized travel magazine. Sand Cay Beach Resort sits right in the middle of Longboat, and invites you to enjoy the beach, the park, and the newly renovated buildings. Our condo was updated at end of 2012 to include a new kitchen with granite countertops, beautiful new hardwood floors, and painting and decor tastefully furnished in Caribbean style. The condo has direct views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as the open courtyard and pool. Our little piece of paradise faces to the south and therefore brings in beautiful and ample light into the unit. At breakfast on the balcony, with soft morning sun, you can hear the lap of the waves as you look out over the Gulf of Mexico. It is gorgeous. Our condo is very well equipped, and many resort amenities are included free of charge. Daytime excursions are numerous, so that your holiday will never be without plenty of activity. Orlando and Tampa, with their fabulous theme parks are within easy reach, and the nearby parks offer the local flora and fauna, and numerous animal attractions such as flamingos and alligators. Shopping and restaurants of all varieties are nearby as well. Everything you need to make your vacation perfect is within reach.
