"Paradise Cottage" is a spacious three-story, cottage-style home located in the heart of Crystal Beach, one of Destin's most popular communities due to its proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Located on a tranquil cul-de-sac the home is just one block from the beach and within walking distance to four major shopping centers including Destin Commons where you will find Bass Pro Shop, Hard Rock Cafe and many other shops and restaurants. In addition several of Destin's finest golf resorts are within a 5 minute drive from the home.
Perfect for a family or a couples' vacation every bedroom has a private bath, cable TV and telephone. Relax in the large jacuzzi tub in the Master Bath or take a siesta on the screened porch just off the Master Bedroom. On evenings when you want to dine in there's a large stainless steel gas grill, plenty of cookware and a pantry full of spices and staples to make your meal a bit easier to prepare. An entertainment center complete with DVD, VCR and CD player as well as the large open floor plan of the kitchen, dining room and living area adds to the enjoyment.
Morning sunbathing, afternoon seabreezes and fabulous evening sunsets make the third floor deck one of the home's main attractions. Why the Owner Chose Crystal Beach
Crystal Beach is such a great community for families and family vacations. Our home is located in Clipper Cove which is a circle of homes with no thru streets so even though it is within walking distance to everything it is also very peaceful. Also the beach access is only about 200 yards away and the beach there is never as crowded as other areas in Destin.
The Unique Benefits at this House
One of our favorite features of our home is the third floor deck. From there you can catch the ocean breezes while watching the boats go by. It is nice and sunny in the mornings and cool and shady for evening sunsets. Also the cul-de-sac neighborhood of Clipper Cove is great for biking, jogging or just walking and enjoying the scenery.
Great restaurant..same owners as Harbor Docks. Great Sushi as well as delicious seafood entrees. Dine inside or out. Sandwich shop below offers great sandwiches and salads to go or eat on the patio.

My husband and I live in Northest Alabama and have been visiting Destin all of our lives. It has been our dream to eventually live here so when we were able to purchase a home here we came a bit closer to making that dream a reality. We own a business in Gadsden Alabama manufacturing scaffolding, skid steer attachments and also manage two rental stores. Our oldest daughter graduated from Auburn University and worked at Sandestin Resort during her internship and decided to stay. Now she has two babies so we are beginning to spend more and more time here. We rent our home mostly during the summer months but spend a lot of time here during the offseason. We look forward to eventually retiring here and making Destin our permanent home.

We were more than pleased with this property for our New Year's getaway. We had not been to the Destin area before and Paradise Cottage helped really make our trip special. We had plenty of room and with nice weather the third-story deck was a nice treat. Location is close to shopping and the beach, so very convenient. Our young son enjoyed the large bath in the master bedroom and we had fun making Christmas cookies using the full kitchen. We will definitely return to this property.
Owner response:The third story deck is my favorite part of the home! Gulf views, morning sun, afternoon shade and early eveing sunsets can't be beat from that point! Convenience is key when you're on vacation and this home is convenient to anything you would need during your stay!

My family and I enjoyed the condo very much. It was very clean and neat. All the bedrooms had their own bathroom and TV. All of the kids and I enjoyed the view from up on the top deck as well as the TV in the loft. It is very close to the beach with about less than a 10 minute walk. I would stay here again. Thanks

We traveled to Destin for a family wedding April 25th through May 2nd. Paradise Cottage was the envy of so many of our family staying in the Crystal Beach area. Our vacation was perfect, the cottage was clean and well maintained, filled with all the necessary amenities. We hosted a dinner party for 30 guests and it was like I was cooking in my own kitchen at home. The images on the property website represented the cottage. No disappointments, a perfect get away! Working with Karen was a pleasure in booking this home. We planned a vacation in 2010 through VRBO and had the same experience. We are planning a repeat vacation next year!
Owner response:Weddings are very popular in the Crystal Beach area so if you plan to attend one and want to enjoy your friends and family without going out to eat we keep our home well stocked with plenty of cooking utensils as well as basics such as spices so that you don't have to worry about buying every little thing. Guests have been very good about replacing items when they use the last of something and usually end up adding an item or two to our collection...so it works out well!

We had an awesome time at this house. It is in a great location! The house is a great place to relax and enjoy New Years! The house is very well maintained and the owers were very helpful. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to get away. Johnny O'Quigley's Irish Pub and Grille is an awesome place to watch your favorite team play the big game! (too bad we didn't win). The New Year's party at AJ's is a must... great view of the fireworks! Everything and Anything you could want is just minutes away. Thanks for letting us enjoy our New Year at your home!

We could not have been more comfortable or relaxed during our stay. Five high school friends from Nebraska and Missouri came down to celebrate our 40th birthdays this year and the house was perfect for it. The location is ideal as we walked to the beautiful beach every day. All the entertainment we needed was close by: shopping, fantastic food, the beach, and more shopping! The neighborhood is quiet & well kept. The neighbors on either side greeted us on our walks and were very fun to chat with. The house was well stocked, very clean, and they were quick to respond whenever we had a question. We all decided this would definitely be a place to come back to with our families or the girls again for the next big birthday celebration. The large family room makes it very comfortable to just hang out and talk or watch a movie. The kitchen was big enough to easily cook in and we had plenty of dining space. The tower is a fun addition and we loved the outside porches. It was a comfortable 65 degrees when we were there and now we are back in the Midwest in the middle of a blizzard. We are all missing that beautiful weather. Make sure to check out the sunrises over the beach. They are spectacular and worth getting up for at least once on the trip. All in all, this is a highly recommend as the accommodations were great.

We had such a great time at Paradise Cottage! You should have seen my daughter's face light up when she saw the high chair! Her fifteen month old made good use of it, you can be sure. Our favorite location is in Clipper Cove in Crystal Beach. Your home was very spacious and we loved the layout of the 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths! We found it clean and very comfortable. The porches and the sun decks were fun and used by all. Everything was easy to use and the accomodations very nice. You made staying there very easy. Thanks for having us...We will be back!

I wanted to say thanks for letting us use your bit of heaven last week. We had a great time and really enjoyed the layout of your home. It is a beautiful place. I love Crystal Beach and Clipper Cove to me is by far the best spot in Destin. The view from your top outlook is outstanding and a great spot to watch the end of the day come to a close.

We thoroughly enjoyed hour home, the best VRBO we've had. It was clean and well equipped and convenient. We walked, biked and golfed despite some damp and cool weather. We like the area and maybe in the future we will look you up again.
