This elegant home was custom-built in '06 with meticulous attention to detail by the owners. It is located in the exclusive, gated Bridger's Cache Community that has the only ski in - ski out private homes in the Winter Park resort area. Our home has been featured in Signature Kitchens and Baths, and has been requested for another spread in a different home magazine slated to appear during the Winter of '09. It is a truly special place.
The owners are in the area year round and will be able to provide travel advice, and will generally be readily available if there are questions about the operation of any appliances, etc. Our 14 year old son has even said he'd be happy to take your family and friends on a familiarizing ski tour of the mountain.
Beginner skiers would enjoy their day most on all the green and blue slopes on the Winter Park side. Winter Park is well known for its excellent ski instructors. (For families with little ones who are not skiers, it is easiest to take the bus from the base of Jane down to the ski school's entrance at the base of Winter Park.) From the Winter Park side for the return home, take blue runs back down from the top of Mary Jane. The daring among you can come home from Winter Park on Outhouse. For the experts among you, stay for the day on the Mary Jane side for the Needle's Eye, the Shoots, Trestle and all the others.
The gourmet chef of your household will love the kitchen. It is fully equipped.

We designed our home to accommodate our family: Mom and Dad, their 3 grown kids, and their grandkids. So, there are four rooms for the adults, and 2 bunk rooms for the kids to share. Perfect!
The Unique Benefits at this House
On beautiful ski days, it is so nice to be able to park the car in the garage and put on our skiis. No parking hassles!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful slopeside home. Everyone in our group had a great time. Our “chefs” enjoyed the kitchen and the whole group had a great time gathering in the great room “watching” movies (some of us may have stole a few extra winks pretending to watch). The beds and the mattresses were a huge hit with everyone…..Temperpedic right? There have been a few requests to ask what model they were…..they certainly did the trick . Winter Park is one of our very favorite places in the world, now we have at least one more reason to love it. Thanks to Elena and Danielle and to the late wildlife show brought to us by some neighborhood foxes. Can't wait for next year.

The Mary Jane home in Winter Park is absolutely incredible. Every aspect of the vacation exceeded all our expectation. The owner, Elena, made sure you felt right at home. The bathrooms were stocked with toiletries, the beds were far beyond beds in hotels and the location was amazing. Unlike most homes in the area who claim you can "ski in/ski out", we were actually able to put our skis on before exiting the garage and ski right out of our driveway. When we arrived, Elena made sure we knew where things were around the house and how they worked. She was able to direct us to local hot spots, and she even made sure we had food for breakfast the first morning (we arrived very late in the evening). The entire experience was the perfect retreat for our group. We will most definitely be returning to Winter Park and staying in this home at the base of Mary Jane!
