One of Laguna's early homes, built simply with pine walls and floors, the house has a good-sized living and dining room with a wonderful fireplace.
Soaring eucalyptus trees planted around the perimeter of the property in the 1920s host a variety birds and migrating monarch butterflies. The natural, spacious landscape encourages the play of children.
The beach is a short walk from the house and offers a fascinating
change of scene as tides work their way in and out.

Close enough to town, beach and all the attractions to feel involved in the coastal lifestyle and still have privacy. We loved it! It was like stepping back in time. Sunsets on the deck were especially pleasant and the neighbors are great too.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

We just returned from a 4 night stay in this wonderful old home in the hills at Laguna Beach. The home was very comfortable with all the amenities necessary for our stay. The landscaping around the home is so lush, you almost feel like you're living in a tree house with the added benefit of having a most impressive beach only six blocks from the front door. I couldn't recommend any other place, more highly. Thank you for allowing a family of Okies to experience your little paradise.

We just returned from our family vacation. What a wonderful time we had. The house is so wonderful. It is an older home with a lot of charm. It is like being at the beach then go to the mountains! We visited all the local beaches including Laguna, Newport and Huntington Beach. It is definately a great family home. Just loved-it!

The cottage was the perfect house for our visit to Laguna Beach. A short easy walk to the beach and the PCH. Nice views from the deck, you'll feel right at home. We fit two families in here, no problems. We can't wait to get back.

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was cozy and homey for ourselves and our two young children. Would recommend for someone looking to get away from the hustle/noise of the main city. You'll feel like a local!
