Oasis is a dramatic soft contemporary home designed by a Swiss architect and decorated by its interior designer owner. The design features curved roofs of concrete which keep the house cool. The floor plan is open and airy and the cool pale grey walls and bamboo floors relax you the moment you enter. Speakers in most rooms allow your favorite music to follow you around the house. Every room provides you with breathtaking Pacific Ocean and lush green mountain views. This home is mostly owner occupied and therefore is more exquisitely furnished than most rentals with eclectic and comfortable furniture and lots of art from Costa Rica and around the world. All rooms have access to the outdoors with exceptionally wide openings to bring the outside in. The livingroom has a nano style folding glass door with no framework that opens 16 feet and even when closed offers an unobstructed view. The large tiled pool is just a few steps from the livingroom constantly beckoning you to come for a swim. We are situated on 5 very private, beautifully landscaped acres with no close neighbors at 1000 ft of altitude with very pleasant temperatures day and night. All rooms have ceiling fans to help circulate the pleasant breezes.
The king size master suite is situated at the far end of the house with a large private garden area behind it. A comfortable chaise lounge for reading inside and a private terrace with chairs and ottomans outside encourages quiet time. There is a large walkin shower with sliding doors to let you step outside and into the 2 person soaking tub. Lots of storage space in the enormous closet!
The queen size guest suite is at the opposite side of the house for maximum privacy. It also has a private terrace with 2 adirondak chairs to sit and contemplate the magnificent view. Both bedrooms are mere steps from a plunge in the pool or the 6 person infinity spa.
If you can tear yourself away from the views to find the Media room you will encounter a 42" plasma TV with cable and home theatre surround sound. This is also where the computer and its high speed internet are located. We have a large selection (close to 300) of CDs in a Sony Jukebox as well as movies and an extensive library.
The fully equipped gourmet kitchen and pantry stocked with any staples you might need are a cook's delight or catering can be organized. Even the cook gets to enjoy the splendid views and there is a handy pass through window to the dining table on the terraza poolside.
The third bedroom is separated from the house in a self contained apartment with its own kitchen. Here you will find a lovely seating area with its own TV (dvds only), a queen size bedroom, large bathroom with shower and soaking tub and a huge balcony with the same incredible view as the house.
The property has an electric gate for privacy and security, lots of parking and is only a 12 minute drive to several local beaches and restaurants. This is considered one of the finest properties in the Southern Zone.

We are currently retired and love to travel! Our home exhibits many treasures acquired in many interesting locations and represents our bulding experiences here.
