Welcome to the Finger Lakes Wine Country! Chardonnay Cottage is a historic, classic salt-box home in the charming village of Hammondsport on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. The Cottage has two-stories which include a full kitchen, side porch, mud room, large living/dining room, two bedrooms upstairs with cathedral ceilings and two full baths (one on each floor.) One bath has a tub and the other a shower.
The Cottage is situated on a huge lot which backs up to Cold Brook, a tributary that leads into Keuka Lake. Behind the brook are the lovely hills of Pleasant Valley, home to the origins of the New York State Wine Country. Chardonnay Cottage is four blocks from the southern most tip of the pristine waters of Keuka Lake. There is a public beach and boat ramp. Boat rentals are available during the summer and fall months. The downtown square with its unique shops and restaurants is a short, safe walk in this splendid village.
