Location: Loon Lake, Washington State, USA (Just a Quick 30 Minute Drive North of Spokane)

Accommodations:  Log Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Bunk Area, 1 Bath (Sleeps 6-8)

The "Loon Lake Lodge" is offered for rent from April through December. It is tastefully furnished and clean. Enjoy expansive lake views from the cozy sunroom or while sitting on your own private sandy beach.

Summer vacations at Loon Lake are great for watersports of all kinds. Our beach offers lots of sand for the kids to play in and an excellent swimming area! Bring the water toys!! Rental includes use of our 2 "Sit on Top" Kayaks. Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Tubing and Jet Skiing are very popular here. Fishermen love the waters of Loon Lake. There are Kokanee, Mackinaw, Silvers, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Small and Big Mouth Bass and more. The deepest spot is about 140 feet. There are several water/theme parks in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area including Silverwood Theme Park.

Wildlife viewing continues all year long. A few of the things we've seen lately are Moose, Bald Eagles, Heron, Turkeys, Deer, Coyotes, Loons, Turtles, Bats, and even a Mountain Otter!

Cell phone reception is good with most carriers and there is an Internet Cafe nearby for anyone who wants to stay "connected".

When you arrive at "Loon Lake Lodge" you will find a home that is clean and ready for your stay. We do NOT offer cleaning services so when you depart we require that you leave it in the same condition. The only exception is that I will take and wash the sheets and towels after your departure. Garbage Hauling is now available for a $10 Cash fee at time of departure.

Quiet time is observed in the neighborhood between 10PM and 7AM

  • Lakefront: 65' of your own PRIVATE waterfront to play on! Excellent swim area. Sandy Beach with firepit. Private dock to keep your boat or Jet Ski! Boat launch is nearby. Note-The dock is taken out of the water mid October and put back in when the lake thaws in the spring!

  • 2 Kayaks and a few lifejackets in various sizes, beginner fishing poles, Nearby Internet Cafe, Loon Lake Library also offers internet access

  • No Pets Allowed: We are pet lovers ourselves, but our policy is to prohibit all animals, big, small, indoor, outdoor or otherwise. Sorry, we cannot accomodate pets. PLEASE - DO NOT ASK
  • Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Renters under age 25 will be assessed an additional security deposit of $250.

NIGHTLY Rates for 2010 Season are as follows:
April, May, October, November, December 2010 - $100/night, 2 night minimum
June and September - $150/night, 2 night minimum
JULY & AUGUST ARE BY THE WEEK ONLY, Saturday to Saturday, $1,200.00 (7 nights)
HOLIDAY WEEKENDS: May 29-30,& September 4-5 - $175/night
SORRY, WE ARE SNOWED IN JANUARY THROUGH MARCH!
ALL RENTALS REQUIRE A MINIMAL SECURITY DEPOSIT OF $250.00

  • We stayed at this property in Aug 09.  The owners were very kind in giving us a tour of the home.  The kayaks were a great item we had a lot of fun using.  Thanks so much for an easy to cook in kitchen, plenty of dishes/pots/pans/etc.  We had a great vacation!

  • Our family just stayed here over 4th of July week. It was amazing!! There was plenty of room and our kids had a wonderful time playing on the big sandy beach. The only thing you need to bring is the food. I hope they will take us back next year.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Loon Lake Cabin. Our family of eight was very comfortable in this spacious home. We were able to see the eagles in Coeur d' alene, do our Christmas shopping in Spokane and have a relaxing family time at the cabin during the hectic season. Everything was clean and well equipped for all of our cooking needs. The owners were easy going and very accommodating. We are looking forward to visiting again.   • Me, and my 2 teenage boys went to the cabin for some R & R. The pictures do it no justice. We had so much fun..experienced the first snow of the year there...we played guitar, talked, enjoyed eachothers company. The movies were great. Would go back in a heart beat.

  • What a perfect fall vacation, the cabin pictures do not do it justice, it was so warm and cozy but with plenty of room. Our 4 kids loved it as all the neighbors were so kind. We also watched the eagles fly over our heads and not to mention all of the wildlife it was amazing. We are sure to come back as it is affordable for a family and the owners were very nice and attentive. Thanks Again for a wonderful stay.

  • In one word- Amazing! This was the coziest cabin ever. We brought our four children and there was still plenty of room to spare! The view is truly breath taking. The kitchen has everything you need and more. And to top it all off the owner was so sweet and welcoming. I would recommend this to everyone! Great for a romantic getaway alone or a family trip.
