We stayed for 11 days in late June with a bunch of teen age boys. The house is perfectly laid out for this type of group, with bedrooms/baths on each floor. Very comfortably designed, decorated with lots of amenities and everything you could want in place. We loved the Master bedroom "retreat" too, so spacious and wonderful bed and bathroom! Al was such a gem in providing excellent info and assistance before and after we arrived. The location is about as good as it gets! Close to everything, yet not right on the boardwalk which is a bit too busy for our taste. Being in the cute & funky beach alley was great. The boys did just about everything-boogie boarding, surfing, kayaking, jet skiing, beach cruisers, skate boarding, beach sports etc. All right there and allowing the kids to be super independent. We cooked/BBQ'd at the house quite a lot (made about 10 trips to Trader Joes!), but also ate a lot of fish tacos at the local places along with breakfast at the Mission, practically next door. Went to La Jolla to eat the lobster tacos at Bahia Brava which was fun and really good and cheap! Then went the opposite route and ate on the terrace at George's at the Cove, Wow! A trip to Coronado island is great too. We highly recommend this house and can't wait until we are able to return. A great vacation!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.

I try to go down to San Diego 1 time per year to relax and recharge. The past 2 times I’ve been in San Diego I stayed at this house with a couple of friends. I chose this place because it was close to all the things I love to do in San Diego – primarily the beach is less than a 5-minute walk away, and great restaurants and nightlife are also all walking distance. Despite being so close to everything, the house is located on a quiet street, so it’s way more relaxing than the places located right on Mission Beach. This rental has a large garage, so it’s nice to not have my car on the street and it makes renting and storing a bike really easy! The same goes with sandy towels, beach supplies, etc. The main level (floor 2) features an open kitchen and living room, so it’s really easy to have a group of people all hanging out together. The comfy couches and flat screen on the wall make for a nice way to spend a night in. That said, because the 3 bedrooms are all on separate floors, there’s enough space so that it never feels cramped. I’m sure I’ll stay here again when I head back to San Diego. Glad I found this place. Worth checking out if you're looking for a reasonable place with lots of space, great location and a good vibe.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The listing posted by the owner is100% accurate in describing the location and atmosphere of the vacation home. I would describe the rental as both luxurious and comfortable. The home is beautiful and a very relaxing environment. There is a large kitchen great for hanging out or entertaining, ocean air lingers throughout the entire home, plenty of comfy seating and lots of natural lighting. Another major plus - he location gives immediate access to miles of beach as well as the ability to bike ride or walk to countless restaurants, cafes, shops, surf/bike rentals, and bars/nightlife. The home is in great shape (practically brand new) and was spotless upon our arrival. We had a wonderful time saying at the Casa Brisas vacation home, the location could not have been better. I would recommend this rental to any of my friends or family in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
