EAGLE ROCK LODGE
This knotty pine lodge is located in Tahoe Pines on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. It is nestled in a quiet forested neighborhood. Homewood Ski Area is only one mile away and Tahoe City is 4 miles in the opposite direction. The large beautiful natural landscaped yard and spacious decks provide the perfect summer setting for family gatherings. The quiet neighborhood provides a haven from the hustle and bustle of the real world and is a safe place for children to play and ride bikes. The flat road and driveway with snow removal make for easy winter access.
Tahoe Pines Beach is located one block away with a private homeowner’s pier. Our personal buoy is available during the summer.
Upon entering any of the 3 doors off of the front deck, you will have a feeling of stepping back into mountain homes of long ago and yet have the modern comforts. The living room has a wood fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD and a cozy seating arrangement for watching the glow of the fire or a movie. The large knotty pine dining room is open and spacious with sky lights and a wood stove (should you need it). A recreation room separates the living room and dining area for playing a game or desk work. (Wireless High speed internet) The modern galley kitchen is open and faces the dining area, recreation area and living room. The cook will never feel excluded!!! The kitchen includes all the necessary tools and cookware to make that family meal after a day swimming or skiing.
3 bedrooms are located upstairs allowing private areas for all. The extra large master bedroom has a king bed with a balcony overlooking the gardens below. The 2nd bedroom down the hall has a cozy queen bed with an adjoining loft with twin beds. Above the kitchen, a bedroom with twin beds has its own private deck with a hot tub.
Whether you’re looking for a week-end, a week or month long get away, this home will give you that mountain experience you’re looking for.

My family and I have rented this house for a week the last two years. It's a great area and a perfect house for a large family. Kathy, the owner, is extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Our activities for the week included mountain biking (Tahoe Rim trail, Flume trail), jogging on the trails (accessible at the end of Grand), downhill biking at Northstar, motor boating & wake boarding on the lake, jet skiing (from Sunnyside), and well-deserved lounging time and paddleboarding at nearby Meeks Bay. For eating, Tahoe House (breakfast pastries) and Sunnyside for dinner were big hits. The house has a great kitchen, excellent outside space for lounging in the shade, and is well-provisioned. Only downside is that the rest of the world seems to have discovered how amazing Tahoe is in the summer, so traffic can get ugly on the weekends. Stay in and enjoy the house on the weekends...Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We rented this house with another family many times this winter and it is so beautiful. The kids loved playing inside and outside, the house has a great flat yard, and we enjoyed every part of our stay. Even our dogs just loved it! Everything was always meticulously prepared for us. The living area is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We love the Westshore and now, with the addition of Westshore Cafe, it's even nicer. Larry and Kathy treat you not like renters, but more like house guests. You just feel welcome. Thank you, we will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

WOW: What a difference one block makes We (my wife & I,our 2 boys & their wives, and our grand children) have stayed in the Tahoe Pines area (same house 1 street over) about 8 times (winter and summer)over the past 10 years BUT this time our boys wanted a change so we found Eagle Rock Lodge. This home is so functional, just perfect for our family. It has plenty of room so you don't fill enclosed and the table for meals was plenty large so we could all all to be together. The kitchen is perfect for cooking with all the amenities just like you would have in your home for family get togethers. We have also stayed in the north part of Tahoe (Kings Beach Area)but the west shore has so much more to offer for our family and they love Tahoe Pines. Now you know why we say "WOW". Our family just stayed at Eagle Rock Lodge this summer and had an absolute great time. The home is so comfy and lots of room for everyone. Anything you need is there, other homes we have stayed in were lacking in many things. The deck is beautiful for just sitting and enjoying and great for BBQing and eating outside. The house is in a great location to everything - hiking, walking, boating and restaurants. We will definitely be back for another visit.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

It was the first time we rented a house abroad and I must say that everything was outstanding. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and the house was very comfortable, cozy and well decorated. We felt very much at home and if was hard to leave after our week-long stay. I hope we can go back next year and again and again. Thank you Kathy and Larry for making our stay so remarkable and unforgetable.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We have stayed in many places in Tahoe over the years. This home will always be our favorite. From the minute we walk in we felt comfortable. The property is beautiful, spacious and warmly decorated. The owners clearly took great care to create a stunning home. We didn't want to leave to go skiing! The jacuzzi was fantastic. the kitchen was perfect. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting a special stay in Lake Tahoe.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
