Admire breath taking white water ocean views from this charming hillside home above the coast in Del Mar while enjoying a comfortable beach lifestyle. This home is ideally located with easy access to the freeway and Pacific Coast Highway. You will find yourself within walking distance to the beach, downtown Del Mar, and the Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds. Here you can experience wonderful restaurants, boutique shopping, art galleries, and entertainment. The Cedros Design District, is near by where you can find unique shops, boutiques, antique shops, restaurants, and entertainment. On Sunday afternoons experience the "Farmers Market" on Cedros where local growers sell fresh produce, flowers, and food items.
This home has been newly renovated. All amenities are included. Each bedroom has its own private bath. A view of the Del Mar Beach Colony and ocean can be seen from all rooms. Sit on the deck enjoying coffee while observing the surfers each morning. In the evening, enjoy cocktail hour while watching the sun set. There are viewing decks off the family room and downstairs bedroom. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a two double beds and a futon bench that that is a little smaller then a twin bed which could sleep a child or small adult. The queen size sofa bed in the living room sleeps two.
There are two high definition flat televisions. Enjoy high definition in the family room and master bedroom which includes cable television channels and high speed internet access. There is a small patio area with a gas grill where you can dine outside for a summer barbeque. This area is centrally located to all San Diego sightseeing and attractions.
ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS:
The Del Mar Fairgrounds and Race Track is the home to numerous activities and entertainment. The Del Mar Fair (June), Del Mar Racing (July-Sep). Drive south to Torrey Pines State Reserve and Beach. The University of California, San Diego campus and Health Center are minutes away. Experience the original San Diego in Old Town (restaurants and shops) and downtown San Diego, Balboa Park and museums. There are numerous public golf courses including Torrey Pines Golf Course which is the home of the Buick Invitational and was the home of the 2008 U.S. Open. Children and adults alike marvel at underwater life at the Stephen Birch Aquarium. The charming town of La Jolla offers shopping and fabulous cuisine as well as the Contemporary Museum of Art. You won't want to miss the world renowned San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. Three wonderful shopping malls are within easy drive. San Diego offers numerous museums, theater, and local movies. Minutes away is miniature golf and driving range. Ten minutes North on the freeway you can reach Legoland and the "Outlet mall" and of course our San Diego Padres at Petco Park.
