This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath two-story duplex home sits in the posh Beverly Grove neighborhood.
The house features a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a Sub-Zero fridge and Thermador oven/range). There's also original 1936 crown molding, a handsome fireplace and original hardwood floors.
The living room and master bedroom include televisions with over 500 satellite TV channels as well as DVD players. There's also a shared backyard charcoal BBQ and a washer and dryer (laundry soap included).
There are three bedrooms upstairs; the master bedroom (with attached bathroom) and two other bedrooms, sharing a bathroom between the two of them. PLEASE see the photos below to get a better sense of the (large) size and layout of the bedrooms.
I am entertainment-industry (touring companies, Hollywood cast and crew, etc.) friendly. The house is in a fantastic and trendy neighborhood, centrally located to easily get to all major studios and theaters. With literally dozens of great restaurants, shops and movie theaters within walking distance, it's a perfect home away from home.
The house is on a permit-only parking street and comes with TWO permits for two vehicles... bottom line, it's always easy to park right in front of the property.
Arriving on a late flight? Have to clear customs and immigration and not sure when you'll be at the house? No problem at all, I can easily accommodate your arrival, as late as necessary.
My place is terrific and you'll love it, but don't take my word for it: PLEASE take a look at my 90 incredible reviews from past guests. They say it best.

To start with, Eric is such a nice guy, always ready to answer my queries. House is located so near to Joan's on 3rd, Beverly Center, Magnolia Bakery etc. Perfect location. Although the house is pretty old looking, it is still well kept and clean. We love all the rooms, slept well enjoyed the dining and big fridge in the kitchen. Overall, nice place! We will be back if we have a chance to go back to LA!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for this very nice response! I'm glad you had a great stay and explored some of the great places in the neighborhood like Magnolia Bakery and Joan's on Third. That's really one of the best things about my property: there is so much to do within walking distance. Would love to have you stay with me any time. :-) best, Eric

I have used vrbo many times and because of one bad experience i pay special attention to other travelers reviews. This property has many reviews and all good. I would agree with them. We had a group of six adults and the three bedrooms with queen beds was a great plus for us. Everyone said they slept great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was clean and Eric's rental process was simple. We thought parking might be an issue when we first arrived, but did not have a problem finding spots for two cars every night. The courtyard is a little deceiving because it is around the back, but the house had great windows in the front room that made us feel we were outside. Great place...would definitiely stay again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for this very nice review! I'm glad you saw that parking is no problem since the house comes with passes for two vehicles. Please come back and stay with me again the next time you are in Los Angeles! best, Eric

Just to start the house was very clean and everything was in order even though we arrived abit early to check in. Now down to what everyone wants to know how was the house really and I must say it was better than advertised to my delight. It is close to the Grove and the Berverly center and I mean walking distance. There are a ton of places to eat near by and the area is very nice. There was more than enough room for all of us to sleep and not feel cramped and it was 5 of us. We had a lot of guest come over an say how nice the place was and they should have rented a house. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and I will be booking my next stay this week for next year.Owner response: Thank you for this very kind review! I really am located in the heart of L.A. with so many great sights within walking distance (like The Grove and the Beverly Center, as you discovered, plus literally dozens and dozens of charming restaurants and shops). I'm also glad you enjoyed the size of the house... there is definitely plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. Thanks again and hope to have you stay with me the next time you're in Los Angeles. best, Eric

We stayed here for 3 nights for a conference in LA. Eric was VERY professional, kept in close contact, and honored all commitments. In addition, he went out of his way to make sure the house was clean, and an air mattress was blown up. A group of us stayed in the house, very comfortably, and all were very impressed with both Eric and the house. Great stay, highly recommended!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Hi Cammie-- glad you had a great stay; it was a pleasure to have you and your friends down for your work trip. As you discovered, the house is perfect to relax at the end of a long day. Hope to see you back the next time you're heading to Los Angeles. :-) best, Eric

The house was just perfect, or even better than we expected. I definitely recommend staying there for anyone going to LA. Also, the organization and information from Eric's side was perfect. Don't miss the breakfast (including the coffee) at Joan's on Third, which is right around the corner!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Hello Sofia, thank you for this very nice review! I'm glad you got to enjoy Joan's on Third... it is truly one of the gems of the neighborhood and just a couple of short blocks from the house. Thank you for staying with me and hope to have you back soon. best, Eric

We stayed at Eric's beautiful house for 9 nights. It easily and comfortably accommodated our family of 6 - 2 teenagers and 2 small boys. The master suite was the perfect retreat for my husband and I and honestly after a few nights it felt like home. It was very clean and beautifully furnished. I didn't have a car for a few days and there were so many places in walking distance - LACMA, the Grove, the Beverly Centre and Pan Pacific Park to name only a few. Eric was an amazing host and could not have been more accommodating. He even arranged with the baby rental company to be at the house for the delivery. I highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Hi Leisa, thank you for this very nice review! As you noted, the neighborhood does have so much to offer within walking distance, so I'm glad you were able to enjoy it all. It was a pleasure to have you and your family stay at my place, and I'd love to have back any time. best, E

Firstly we were looking for a house to stay in rather than a Hotel, because in LA most hotels only cater for 2 people per room, this means for a family of 4 you need two rooms....in our travelling party, our family consisted of my wife and two boys ages 15 and 17. The cost of two hotel rooms becomes quite expensive, so having us all together in the one house is perfect. The first thing we noticed is how central to everything the house is. walk out your door and you have a multitude of eat options, unique little stores, farmers markets, which is great place to browse and grab an inexpensive bite... about 10 min walk is Macy's and Bloomingdales, this area of West hollywood is very cool. I had my first awesome coffee after being in the USA for 3 weeks....and the Kings Road cafe' delivered, it was just at the end of the block, about 5 min walk from the house...The Coffee was the best...(americans generally don't know what good coffee is)...sorry..:). When on holidays we like to do what the the locals do, and this house provides exactly that. Eric provides an awesome service, nothing is too much trouble, and his descriptions and helpful information on where to go is not only accurate but very perfect. thanks again Eric, when we are next in LA, we will be coming back to your house to explore more of this great area in LA....cheersRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Hello Darren, thank you for this extremely nice review! It was a pleasure to meet you and your family, and I'm happy to hear you had such a great stay... and I agree, the coffee at King's Road Cafe is excellent. ;-) Please come back and stay with me again the next time your travels bring you to Los Angeles! best, Eric

Myself and 6 other friends rented this apartment for the 3 nights we were in LA (We had travelled from Australia). I have to say the apartment exceeded all my expectations and we had more than enough room for the seven of us. The apartment is close to shops, bars etc and is in a great location. When we arrived the apartment was spotlessly clean and we all felt right at home immediately. I had several questions during my stay and each time I called Eric he was more than happy to assist with my queries. It was great to have a landlord happily take my calls at anytime. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a spacious, modern apartment at a really good price. I must also add all my friends thanked me as we left for booking such great accomodation for our time in LA.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: John, thank you for this very kind response! The location of the house is pretty terrific so I'm happy to see that you enjoyed the neighborhood. Please come stay with me again any time. best, Eric

We had the pleasure of spending 7 nights at this fantastic house. 4 Adults and 2 kids (6,4). Eric was a pleasure to deal with from questions regarding bookings to things that we might like to do. Making the process simple and straight forward. Great location with a variety of cafe's and restaurants to cater for all. As the house was so roomy it felt like everyone had their own space to escape to. The little touches made it feel more homely and inviting. As was the fireplace. Would highly recommend this house to all wanting to stay locally and experience the LA lifestyle. Thank you Eric and will definitely stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Hi Amanda-- thank you for this very nice review! So glad you had a great stay, and that you enjoyed the fireplace as well as all the cute restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Please come back and stay with me the next time you are in Los Angeles. :-) best, Eric

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2000
About the owner: After living all over the United States, I came to Los Angeles about 20 years ago and now consider it home. I love L.A. and genuinely enjoy having folks come and enjoy themselves in my city.
Why the Owner Chose West Hollywood:
I lived in this house for eight years before deciding to make it a vacation rental. Once I made that decision, I took several months to renovate it and make it fantastic. (When it was all done, I even had a moment of 'dang, this place is REALLY nice now, I wish I was still living here!'). Not only is the house terrific, but the neighborhood is AMAZING-- there's so much within walking distance (a rarity in car-centric Los Angeles) and it's just charming and nice.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
There are literally dozens and dozens of fantastic shops, restaurants, theaters and boutiques within a 15-minute walk. Two of the most successful Southern California retail centers, The Beverly Center and The Grove, are also within walking distance. Four of the best restaurants in the entire city are also within walking distance. It's just ridiculous how much there is to do in the neighborhood, and how centrally located you are for traveling downtown, the Valley, Hollywood, the beaches, and Disneyland... I'm right in the middle of it all. (Please take a moment to scan my 74 incredible reviews; you'll see many guests commenting on all the great stuff in the neighborhood.)
