Enjoy the bocce ball court in your yard, celebrate the day's catch at the Tikki Bar on the deck, play fooseball in the sunroom! Two bedrooms each with a double bed and a bathroom are downstairs and the upstairs bedroom features two double beds and a half bath. Sit on the deck and watch the sunset over the Pamlico River. Sip a cool drink at the Tiki Bar on the deck. Play Bocce on your course right in your very own yard. A Canoe and a kayak are available for you to use; plus there are 2 adult bikes & 2 children's bikes available for your use. Once you stay here, you'll be very relaxed when you leave & will crave to visit again.
The bedrooms are arranged as follows: two downstairs bedrooms each with a double bed; one upstairs bedroom with two double beds and a half bath. Full bath is located downstairs. Sunroom & den offer two separate sitting areas. Dining area seats six comfortably & there is a picnic table on the deck.
Cook your catch on the gas grill and dine at the picnic table on the deck surrounded by the cool breezes from the river. Or cook inside in the kitchen which adjoins the living room and dining area. A separate sunroom allows for some of you to watch a movie or play a game while the rest of you chat uninterruped about the day's fishing stories!
Hike around Goose Creek State Park just 2 miles away where they have great trails and creeks in which to kayak. Learn about the history of Bath & why it stayed so small for so very long; plus, neighboring towns of Belhaven & Washington are fun to explore. One of our favorite trips with children (and adults!) is to ride the Bay view Ferry (car ferry) across the river to Aurora. There you can dig for fossilized sharks teeth and visit the Fossil Museum. Bring small shovels for mining for fossils & buckets and bread to feed the birds when you cross on the ferry. The ferry is free & a few miles from the house.
