My wife and I had a wonderful two days in the cabin. The place was clean and well-stocked, and there was a wonderfully charming ambiance around the whole place. There were only the two of us, but there was enough room to comfortably sleep four people. There was a stocked fire pit out front for s'mores and hotdogs for nighttime fun, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing. I went fishing in the clean stocked bass pond and had an amazing morning of just being by myself and enjoying the mountain fog. There was nothing lacking from our weekend, and we would gladly recommend it to others, and fully intend to come back and enjoy more time there!

This was a wonderful cabin for our stay in Fort Payne, Al. It is beautifully decorated in antiques on the inside with cozy blankets and a warm fireplace, too. The outside is surrounded with a lovely view and quiet area. There is a grill, fire pit, and of course, the wonderful hot tub! It is very close to all the Little River Canyon activities, too. The owners are friendly and accomadating for any needs. I would recommend this cabin for anyone traveling to this beautiful area.

We reviewed many cabin rentals before deciding on this particular location for our honeymoon destination. And we are so glad we did. When I called to make the reservation, they were extremely nice and very helpful and answered all my questions. We love the outdoors and they had alot to offer. We enjoyed the fact that the cabins are original 1800's built homes, and not newly built replicas. It was easy to make ourselves feel at home. There is a lot of land to explore. On the property alone, there was a large pond for fishing, friendly goats we could pet, cows and geese, and rocks to climb. The cabins offer privacy and each have their own individual drive and spacious areas surrounding them. We choose Cabin 4. It was very clean, and had lots of interesting decorating details, there was a grill, and fire pit area, a hot tub, and fully furnished kitchen with all necessary utensils, washer/dryer, tv with cable. All we had to do was bring our own groceries. And loved that we could bring our two small dogs with us. I believe they enjoyed it as much as we did. They had a lot of land to run and explore! There were many nearby attractions and activities to do. She had brochures readily available for us in the cabin. We were able to do some of these during our stay. We cannot wait to make our next reservation to stay in other cabins on the property!

THE DIRECTIONS TO CABINS WERE SO EASY TO FOLLOW, THE PICS WERE EXACTLY THE WAY THE CABINS LOOKED. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE JUST IN "AWE" OF HOW OUR CABIN LOOKED, MOUNTAINS WERE JUST BREATH TAKING. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE WE WERE THERE, DID'NT WANT TO GO HOME. VERY CLEAN AND HAD ALL THE AMENITIES OF HOME. OWNERS WERE VERY NICE AND HOSPITALIBLE. WE COULD'NT ASK FOR A BETTER VACATION SPOT TO GO TO. RUBY FALLS A MUST SEE, GREAT FOOD TOO.

We just returned from the three bedroom log cabin, absolutely fabulous. We asked the owners to remove the television as we wanted an electronics free spring break. We wandered the property all one day, fed the goats and climbed the 'dinosaur back' rock features, then explored the Little River Canyon National Preserve and Park on another. That's a lot of hills for a delta country family, so we soaked in the hot-tub each evening. My youngest made a spear with stuff he found, and I've never seen kids so relaxed. The cabin was super comfortable, really interesting to see those big hand-hewn logs and think how many years old they all were - but as comfortable (with central air and heat, gas fire on thermostat, nice beds, good kitchen) as being in a hotel or condo. We never ate out - brought all our food from home - but other guests wrote in the guest book about going out in Fort Payne and were very complimentary of the food quality. We'll go again and this time take the boys horseback riding nearby, more hiking, read around the camp-fire (circle in the front yard. Maybe even take our whole extended family - there are 5 cabins and a lodge - they are very secluded (we saw two other people the whole time we were there), but close enough to get a family reunion/retreat going if you wanted. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed in this cabin in February and it was wonderful! The owners are very nice people, who take great pride in their rentals. They have five cabins located on their farm, their is a lake for fishing, hiking trails and rock climbing on the property. If I could change one thing about our stay, It would be having to leave and come back home.
