Wonderful Fall Getaway

This property surpassed our expectations in every way. Our stay was one of the best vacations we've had in a while! My husband and I were looking for a place we could stay on the lake and this was definitely the best unit on the property. Wonderful kitchen, screened in porch, beautiful patio, and great views of the lake, very relaxing.... Lake Mille Lacs was only a few feet away. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go at the resort. We only left the resort once to visit the casino, which there is a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off if you don’t want to drive there. We fished on our own with great success! We caught several walleyes that were keepers! The food in the restaurant was good. We didn’t really need to bring anything but our clothes and food. Thank you very much for allowing the use of your home. We hope we will be able to stay here again soon.

My family & I had a great time here. The home was very clean & fully stocked with pots/pans china & glassware. Very up to date kitchen. The beds were comfortable, great fireplace with plenty of firewood. The back yard & patio were very nice. Clearly one of the best views on the entire lake. It was fun to just sit out in the back yard with a glass of wine & bird watch & see all of the boats coming & going from the marina. The walk to the clubhouse/restaurant & pool area was only about 200 yards. We left feeling very relaxed. Bottom line, the rental rate was very reasonable. The four of us would have paid more than that for 4 days/3 nights at two one room hotel rooms in any big city-& we had an entire house. We intend on coming back to this house in the future, & I highly recommend it. Also, the owner was very helpful to us.

This rental unit was beautiful. Everything we needed was here. The property was very clean and well maintained . The owner was easy to work with and available to answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. We would not hesitate to rent it again .

Beautiful home right on the lake with fabulous views and a lovely deck. Clean, comfortable, welcoming. Activities on Mille Lacs are the best part of Summer. Nearby lodge and restaurant provides tasty options to cooking in. We will be back.

Our stay was absolutely the best vacation we've all had in along time! The views from this home rival the view from ocean front in Myrtle Beach, SC. Your home is comfortable in every way imagineable, we did'nt really need to bring anything but our clothes and food. Thank you very much for allowing the use of your home. Hope to vacation at your home again, soon. Thank You.

This townhome exceeded expectations in every way. My husband and I were looking for a place we could stay and host a get together picnic for his family that lives nearby. The patio was very private and had plenty of room for our extended family. Those that stayed over were able to find rooms in the hotel but this was definitely the best unit on the property. Gourmet kitchen, great views, very relaxing.... Lake Mille Lacs was only steps away (we listened to the waves hitting the shoreline on the windy days but half the time the water was calm).We could walk to the pro shop, restaurant, marina, everywhere... We only left the resort once. We fished on our own and also took the charter. We caught several fish but you can't keep over 17 ". We golfed several days and the courses were lovely and in great shape. The food in the restaurant was good. All the employees were very friendly. OK = one complaint - no blender in the kitchen (but I'll bet it was broken and it is replaced by now). We hope we get to stay here again. Love it!

Izaty's Beach Villa

We enjoyed staying here. Property was available when stated it would be. All of the amenities were available including binoculars. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glasses, towels were all there in addition to the dishwasher detergent and dish soap. We would recommend the Bayview Restaurant for burgers. Teal's Market in Isle for groceries and Water and Woods store for gifts. The owner provided us with a list of things we could do in the area and we followed most of them. We would recommend this property to our friends and relatives.

For the most part it was fine, except for 3 problems. 1) There was a terrible sewer smell that came up through the drain when you run the water. 2) One of the beds had bedbugs in it - my daughter discovered the bites right away, although we weren't sure about it until we did some research later on. 3) When I reported these issues to the owner, and asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience my daughter had to endure, he completely ignored me. I tried to contact him several times but he never responded. When you spend this kind of money,, you don't expect to have to deal with bedbugs. I didn't think it was unreasonable to get part of our money refunded.

Owner response: To My Future Guests, This guys nuts! When he first reported his issues I took him very seriously. 1)The next day, I had the on resort property manager treat the wells, eventhough the property manager reported that he did not detect a sewer smell. 2)Within 2 Days,I had Plunkett's Pest Control on site. They performed an extensive inspection, they found no evidence or signs of bed bugs.I was pretty freaked out by Pete's report, so just to be safe had Plunkett's do their service. The treating of the wells and the hiring Plunkett's was expensive, much more then the rent Pete paid, but it was the right thing to do. You see I have a great deal of pride in this property and want my guest to have a wonderful experience. 3) A month later Pete emails pay me money or else I write a bad reveiw. As you can see I didn't sucumb to his blackmail. Sorry Pete, I call BS! Steve

Best unit at resort

We stayed for a week over the fourt of July and the accomadations were excellent , the lake was so calm we were able to keep the boat rioght in front of the cabin and ski and swim there . The pool has a large Bar -Food area that is very reasonable and great food also if you would prefer that. The views are incredible from this unit and it sets itself out from all of the other units there. We are looking forward to a retun visit.

My wife and I rented this property for the second time in June. Our first visit was in January of this year. We enjoyed our first weekend so much, we decided to rent the place this summer. The unit is clean and well kept, and is highly recommended for anyone looking for a great place to rent. The winter was fun, but the summer was excellent. The location is ideal for a short walk to the clubhouse or for getting in the boat for a day of fishing. Bring your bike if you want to enjoy the trails or your golf clubs to enjoy some golf. Steve and Joan are very accomodating, the kitchen is high end, the patio is very comfortable, and the balconey deck is great for the view of the lake and a cup of coffee. We are already planning a return next summer and haven't ruled out another winter visit.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great relaxing vacation

We held a family reuntion at Izaty's in July. Lots of siblings and nieces and nephews. The resort was great with something for everybody of all ages. Family members spent lots of time spent at the pool & hot tub, on the beach volleyball court, at the tennis court, on the golf course, at the lake beach, and fishing on the lake. I didn't fish much but did catch and release a 6# walleye, my biggest in years. I had an opportunity to see a few other townhomes and really feel that this was both the nicest and most convenient one at Izaty's. I'm sure we will come back again, all the way from Boston.

This place is a gem! We had a great family vaction this summer. Something to do for everyone. The property has an excellent location, awesome views and is exceptionally furnished and designed. Oh yes,it is also very clean! We will be back!! Better yet, if you ever consider selling.., call us first we will buy your place.

We had a great time golfing, fishing and biking. The location of this beach villa is ideal, private yet near sll the amenities. The unit is very nicely furnished and updated. We wholeheartedly recommend this place as a great vacation getaway.

We just had the best…, most relaxing vacation ever! Sitting on the chaise lounge reading a good book just a few feet from the water reminded me of being on a luxury cruise ship, only better! No crowds. Your townhouse is equipped better then a Ritz Carlton Hotel. We are glad we discovered this little slice of heaven on earthJamie

This is a beautiful gateaway spot. The interior and exterior beauty match. Whether you want a spot for just the two of you to getaway, to enjoy a golf weekend with another couple, or a vacation spot for the family. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here. My husband, three children and myself had a relaxing and peaceful mini getaway here. To see the gorgeous sunsets and wake to see a bald eagle feeding on the rocks, just feet away...priceless!!!
