Why the Owner Chose Oak Shores

The serene surroundings and beautiful scapes were a great attraction to us both. Our children really enjoy our vacations in lake nacimiento and we make many memories there. We really enjoy water sports and have even acquired a golf cart and scooters to get around inside the beautiful grounds of the Oak Shores Community. The pool is heated during peak season and the kids always enjoy a dip in the pool after a day at the lake.

We purchased our lake house 1 1/2 yrs ago after looking for a vacation home in various places and doing our homework well. After a long search, we found our haven.... in Beautiful Oak Shores Community in Lake Nacimiento. We finished renovating it April of 2008, after working very hard since our purchase exactly one year prior. We try to go to the lake as often as possible and rent our home in between our visits. Availability is great now since we just put it up as a vacation rental We hope to provide you with a wonderful experience and that you enjoy this hidden treasure as much as we do. Below are some of the accommodations we greately enjoy:

Beautiful Community Pool and kiddie playgrounds
This large pool, only for the use of Oak Shores owners and renters, provides great atmosphere and breathtaking views of the marina and lake. The little kid's pool just perfect for the newly introduced swimmers. You can relax on the observation deck or cool off and enjoy a day of relaxation. Boasting mountain views. Outside the pool area you have access to foos table, ping pong, playground for the little ones and BBQ areas.

    • AWESOME lake house!!! Stayed here with a group of friends and couldn't be more pleased with the accomodations. Set-up of the house is absolutely perfect - plenty of sleeping space, great game room, expansive deck with great views of the lake, ideal location with easy access to the lake and marina, and top-notch features and remodels throughout the home. Owner was a pleasure to work with and ensured that the entire rental process was efficient and worry-free. We would stay here again without hesitation and hope to come back soon!

    • One of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. Spend the day on the lake wakeboarding or hanging out in a cove and then head back to the house to enjoy the endless views from their gorgeous deck. No expense is spared and every creature comfort has been anticipated. Whether you want to relax on the deck with a book, watch a movie, play a game, golf or hang at the pool--there are endless options to make everyone in your party happy. Will definitely be booking again this year!

    • Really enjoyed our stay. Spectacular view of the lake. Fabulous decorating job and a very comfy home. Nicely equipped kitchen with top notch appliances. No expense spared in the fixtures and amenities. Owner is very easy to work with. Limited parking but would definitely rent again.
