Located on 8.5 landscaped acres on Milton Bight, a picturesque bay on Roatan’s north shore, Casa Vista Verde is slightly east of the island center. The property offers 900 feet of private waterfront on crystal clear Caribbean water. Following a short 20-minute ride from the airport, guests enjoy the cool, consistent trade winds and spectacular views of the sea and coral reefs just off shore.
Casa Vista Verde's central island location makes it an ideal base to explore Roatan's many activities and offerings, including canopy tours, submarine dives, hiking, horseback riding, and world class scuba diving.
Casa Vista Verde's walled perimeter, sturdy concrete construction, and sound insulated walls help guarantee privacy and quiet inside and out. Handmade solid mahogany doors further attenuate sound transmission. The glazed concrete roof tiles, double paned safety glass windows, backup generator with automatic transfer, and storm bolted doors keep the villa comfortable and secure should inclement weather arise. For guest comfort and safety, Casa Vista Verde utilizes a 90,000 gallon rainwater collection system with 5 stage treatment/filtration for pure, fresh water.
Inside, each bedroom features a private bath. Two large screen TVs with surround sound theatre systems, DirecTV receivers, a music/video library, guest PC, and wireless/wired internet access offer modern entertainment and communication options. The villa is decorated throughout with locally sourced handmade mahogany furniture, art, and photographs.
The grounds of Casa Vista Verde have been cultivated with guest enjoyment in mind. Wander the property, and you will find ripe pineapple, coconut, guava, mango, lime, plum, banana, avocado, plantain, or other delicious fruits depending on the season.

Before buying, I was looking for enough space to insure guest privacy; beach, waterfront, and boating activities worth the travel; construction of the highest quality; residents and government friendly to U.S. investment and tourism; and the chance to incorporate yachting service standards in our offerings. After searching most of the Caribbean and parts of the Pacific looking for the right spot, Roatan fit the bill perfectly!

My interests include scuba diving, boating, windsurfing, sailing, and fishing - if it involves the ocean, I probably like it. After spending years searching the world for the perfect location for this project, I decided on Roatan and this location on my first visit. I feel fortunate to spend time on such a beautiful island helping create exceptional vacation memories for our guests!

One of Our Best Vacations Ever!!!

Our family of 11 (ages ranged from a toddler to couples in their late 20s and early 30s to young grandparents in their 50s to great-grandparents in their 80s) stayed at this property last week and everyone had a blast! This is an AMAZING house/property. It is located in a quiet part of the island away from the hustle and bustle (and tourists). Many times we would not see anyone else on the beach all day – we had it all to ourselves! The sand flies are real but it's nothing to worry about - a little bug spray keeps them off all day. Every detail has been carefully thought out and planned. Everything is the latest and greatest from the satellite internet and television to the networked movie/music library to all the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and walk-in refrigerator to the backup power generator and club house by the water. The furniture is all rich mahogany wood. There are 5 bedrooms (3 queens, and 2 doubles). The only issue we ran into was deciding who gets which bedroom. Since we really didn't spend that much time in our bedrooms this turned out fine particularly since each one had its own bathroom. The property manager, Meghan, was always on top of everything. She made it feel like we were staying in an all-inclusive resort! Any request or question we had she would handle for us - from booking our SCUBA diving to getting us groceries to generally being very knowledgeable about activities and info about the island. Gabrielle, the chef, was also great. We arranged to have her make us lunch and dinner daily (VERY reasonable cost). Upon our arrival we had lunch already waiting for us. We then set the menu for the rest of the week to suit our family's tastes. Having her around really made it feel like a vacation since it freed up a lot of the time we'd usually spend cooking and cleaning up. The weather was gorgeous. Many nights after dinner we would put on some music on the outdoor speakers and gather by the pool for some drinks and good conversation - or we would put on a movie and watch it on the 50+ in flat screen. We never felt the need to go to town – we already had everything we needed. During the day everyone did their own thing - from snorkeling to kayaking to picking fresh limes to SCUBA diving to exploring nearby towns. We also fished and even caught some lobsters, which Gabrielle cooked up for us for dinner! In all, this was one of our best vacations and we think you will have an amazing time at Casa Vista Verde.

Casa Vista Verde was everything we wanted and more. The service was impeccable. The house manager, Cassondra, made sure we had the provisions we needed, encouraged our input in meal planning, and made great suggestions for activities to try. Nolvia, the cook and housekeeper, kept the house sparkling and prepared delicious meals including some typical Honduran dishes. Casa Vista Verde was designed for complete enjoyment of indoor and outdoor spaces. The interior is airy, spacious, and has great flow. The exterior has everything you could want in a luxury beach home. We enjoyed the views and the breezes from the covered porches at breakfast and lunch and before dinner we enjoyed the hot tub and pool that are set on a large patio overlooking the Caribbean. It is a short walk down to the beach cabana, private beach, and dock. We really enjoyed the location, we kayaked, used paddleboards, and were picked up right at the dock for our dive trips. What we liked best was the staff (always friendly, eager to please), the house (casual luxury, so much to offer), the location (beautiful views, calm warm water), the activities (something for everyone).

What a fantastic Thanksgiving Week vacation/Dad’s 82nd Birthday! You can’t beat the location, view, and all the amenities of Vista Verde, except that the best part is the staff – Cass, Raul, Nolvia, and Neptale – always there when you need them to add to the experience. Casa Verde Vista is a beautiful private waterfront estate home every bit as beautiful as the pictures. The staff is exceptional and the property has just about every amenity except a private helicopter which I have no doubt Cassandra, your ultimate concierge, would arrange for if you gave her your credit card. Nolvia is a great local cook and takes care of your every need with rare warmth and sincerity. Dive shop picks you up from your private dock. Life is good at Casa Vista Verde!
