  We had an amazing time here. So very relaxing and beautiful. Nolvia and Raul took great care of us and the property. Nolvia's cooking was by far better than any place we ate out. Ana was very friendly and helpful. We hope to return again soon!

  10 days in Paradise & our favorite 10 things on Roatan at Vista Verde: 1. Staff: Nolvia, Raul, and Derry, and Cass! 2. Nolvia: Cooking, taking care of us, her personality and kindness! 3. Cass: Making all our arrangements, the best concierge! 4. Raul: his boating skills and driving us around the island 5. Golf: Black Pearl was spectacular and loads of fun! 6. Beach: All the toys, and cleanliness, and the Palm Beach Restaurant 7. Scuba and Snorkel options are plentiful 8. Deck, Patio, Pool, and Hot Tub (and views) 9. House: Clean, comfortable, and well kept by Nolvia 10: So much FUN wherever we went, and the WEATHER was 95% perfect.

  We have been back now for about 10 days and I have come to accept that I am no longer in PARADISE, but actually at work. Asa, I can barely find words to explain how much we enjoyed our stay at Vista Verde. From the moment we arrived we were all very excited that we chose Vista Verde. The pictures on the internet do not do the place justice. Everything about the property was even more than we expected. The pictures were unable to capture the welcome we received by your staff. You have put together the BEST staff I have ever encountered. Cass did a fantastic job no matter what our group asked of her. With the 8 - 10 of us to deal with she had her hands full.Your entire personnel made our stay unforgettable. I miss Nolvia everytime I go in the kitchen or rthink about the meals she made for us. Our group did alot of running around the Island and all of our ventures went off without a hitch, with the exception of the Dolphin dive (which was weather related and out of the everyones control). I persoanlly enjoyed diving with Subway and would tell any diver not to miss the Shark dive. i also got in a couple of rounds of golf at The Black Pearl and the course is awesome. We ate dinneer out a few times and our meal at Gio's was fantastic. The Hole in the Wall was a fun time and good food, but the new mangement was a little overwhelmed, as the place was packed the day we went. I can go on and on about how much we enjoyed our time in your piece of Paradise, but I'll just say it was the BEST vacation I have ever had. We try to go to the Carribbean every year and I can't wait to come back to Vista Verde in the future. Warn Cass and the gang that we will be back!! Thank you again for creating such a great home and atmosphere for all to enjoy. See you in 2014!!!! Bob and Neva

  Like the group before us, we came to celebrate a birthday, and weren't exactly sure what we were getting into. What we got was a beautiful house, great service, and Nolvia. I can't begin to express our appreciation for her. With a group of 8 plus a baby, going out to eat often would have been a hassle. Her cooking was incredible and she always had a smile on her face. The reef outside your door for diving, the incredible scenery, the golf at Black Pearl, ziplining at Caribe with Henry and "the white guy"...has left us with wonderful pictures and memories, along with hoping we will be back soon...

  We came here to celebrate two birthdays, not entirely certain what to expect. We found an island paradise that even a few storms could not dim. Nolvia, Raul, Cass, and the crew made this place as comfortable and relaxing as any vacation we have ever taken. We shopped, fished, dove (Barefoot Divers was fantastic), snorkeled (there is some great reef just outside the back door, but take the skiff), ate, and drank, until life and work beckoned us away. We will miss this place...

  We (family of 4, 2 kids age 10 and 13) had a wonderful, unparalleled stay at Vista Verde. Instead of listing all the appliances, amenities, possibilities and opportunities you will find at this place (all is listed very accurate and in great detail by the owner), I will explain what made this stay so different. 1) Since we were traveling with kids my wife and I were looking for a place combining the convenience of a 5* hotel and the privacy and space of a rental villa. Imagine a luxury rental villa with plenty of space, you wake up and the breakfast is already on the table, an hour later your laundry is done, rooms will be cleaned, then someone is shopping groceries on your request, meanwhile the kids are using on the private beach, you relax at the pool, make some plans for the afternoon with another staff member extremely knowledgeable about the island, and for dinner you can opt to stay home (because you have a perfect private chef), or going out using your private chauffeur service. So, how does this sound to you? Unbelievable? Here you can have it. 2) The staff is dedicated to make your stay comfortable, memorable and convenient. Everyone is working with true passion; there is a vibe of hospitality at this place. 3) For those who care about details: the house is amazing. It is build of concrete and stone, very solid, the way most houses are built in Europe. Solid doors and windows, nicely done tile floors, quiet rooms. Roatan is less touristic than other islands we visited and price level is quiet low. Compared to the more touristic places, I realized that most people in Roatan are always friendly and open-minded. You will experience a charming island that is lacking the typical hotel monstrosities; instead you find small shops and original, scenic restaurants. For activities we highly recommend scuba diving, zip lining, and swimming with the dolphins. Also, we enjoyed a dive tour to pigeon keys and boat rides through the mangroves. There is one problem, though. The sand flies always accompanied our activities. Whereas our 13ys. old did not care, the 10ys. old was suffering from more than 20 heavily itching bites after the first week. This is certainly not the fault of the owner or the staff, it is simply the environment here. I know the owner and the staff do anything to make it better ), and we truly hope they get it improved to fix our one and only problem during this otherwise wonderful and magical stay!

I am very sorry about your son's experience with the sand flies. They do come and go around the island, which is why we provide OFF spray and lotion (which guests are free to take with them during their activities). They seem to be very sensitive to OFF, more than mosquitos, and usually one spray in the morning will prevent problems all day. Since your visit, we have begun testing with an organic spray which has been reported to work well elsewhere, with an aim to install a permanent, unobtrusive misting system to insure they don't become a nuisance on the property itself.   What can we say that hasn’t already been said? Casa Vista Verde is truly paradise on Earth! We have stayed in some amazing places over the years but this is the first where we all said “We’ll be back!” Meghan and Nolvia treated us like family. I am sure there were many times our requests made them bite their tongues but ALWAYS acted as if what we asked for was nothing out of the ordinary. Nolvia truly a gem…I tried my best to stuff both her and the icemaker in my suitcase, but alas…there is not an amenity that Asa has not conceived nor Meghan made an reality. We are eternally grateful for your hospitality and invitation to return! Gracias por unas vacaciones!!

  Thank you for sharing your home. It is truly lovely here and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were 4 adults, 2 five year old boys, and 2 one year old girls. We all found something – our boys most enjoyed the iguana farm, zip lines, and swimming. Nolvia, Cass, and Raul were awesome-I may not be able to go on vacation again without this level of service!

  Our two families, including 4 kids, enjoyed an exceptional week here. Three things made the CVV experience stand out: 1) The house itself is magnificent, built recently to the highest quality standards and perched atop a hill with commanding views over the sea. It may physically be the nicest house rentable on the island. The pool, beach cabana, jet ski, boat, sea kayaks, home audio/video - all related equipment are similarly high-quality and ready for enjoyment. If you visit, be sure to check out the beach next door to the house, which is sandier and allows wading out to a small island. 2) The service exceeded any that I've enjoyed in my 17 years of renting vacation homes. It starts with the responsiveness and professionalism of the home owner, who cares deeply about the guest experience, and continues to Cass, the wonderful property manager. She helped us plan everything, including daily activities (zip lines, van tour, boat trip, etc.) and especially diving (she is a certified dive instructor). On diving, she hooked us up with three different shops on different parts of the island, where we arranged to hit the specific sites we most wanted. One of those dive shops is nearly adjacent to the property, but the others are 10+ miles away, and we were easily able to do them all, thanks to her planning. Nolvia, the cook, rocks, and we recommend using her for dinners, too. Given her skill, there's no need to leave the property to enjoy the best of local cooking. Raul made transport a breeze, and if you speak Spanish, you'll find him and Nolvia great to interact with. Gary, the mechanic, is also the owner of West End Divers, and we greatly enjoyed our day of diving with him. In sum, you won't find service this comprehensive at a 5-star hotel, let alone any other vacation rental. 3) The combo of house amenities (boat, jet ski, pool, sea kayaks, etc.) and island activities (diving, zip lines, animal parks, dolphin experience) combine for a wonderful mix of experiences that can, thanks to Cass's help, all be enjoyed without breaking a sweat. It takes little effort on the part of house guests to plan and enjoy it all. I doubt any other accommodation on the island could match this. I'm personally a senior employee at HomeAway/VRBO and have stayed at a lot of houses over the years. This is one of the best. Enjoy!

  Roatan is quite a place and living in this house was the perfect way to enjoy it! Nolvia is adorable and was a great chef. I got to scuba (highly recommend it), play soccer with locals, and catch a 25lb wahoo…I’d say it was a big success! Ps Try Cal’s for dinner.

  An American family in Roatan. Me, my husband, mother in law, and 2 kids under 5-This villa was perfect for us! Our mouths dropped when we enters the house, the details were so beautiful. The kitchen was modern and stocked with what we requested. The living area open & airy. The bedrooms were clean large and the beds were comfy! And we all had our own bathroom. But the view is what got me! Walking out of the home and onto the huge pool deck to see the expanding view of the Caribbean was breathtaking. Our walk down to the beach revealed a beach house- again with everything you need- kayaks, beach towels, kitchenette, shower, balcony, and a dock that we jet skied and boated from! The staff's sincere hospitality was priceless. Their cooking was delicious fresh fruit everyday, and coffee waiting for us each morning. They also cleaned for us (I came home with a suitcase full of clean clothes!) Cassondra was always available for questions or help with planning our day. We did it all too-diving was amazing, zip line (my husband and 5yr old loved it), iguana farm, restaurants, swimming w dolphins. When we come back we'll stay at Casa vista verde. It was safe, immaculate, and gorgeous! highly recommend it! Btw- the game room was big w a huge tv, poker table, bar, and master bedroom rocks!

  The View! The Pool! The Villa! Wow.... Cass, Nolvia, and Raul were the ultimate hosts and helpers. Cass gave us all the tips and tricks to the island with a bounce in her step. Raul – smiles, boat rides, seastars! Nolvia, the food & fun with the kids! This place is amazing. We’ll be back Roatan!

  This was a magical vacation! We love Nolvia and Brenda. We all enjoyed their wonderful meals and not having to do chores all week! We enjoyed all the suggestions for places to visit. We love it here, your house is awesome. The whole staff is amazing, this is our favorite place by far. Thank you for everything! Love,

  Our stay at Vista Verde was wonderful. The house and grounds were just as photographed on the website. Noliva and Cass made the trip unforgettable. Cass accommodated our every need -even ones we didnt know we had! and Nolvia, as I am sure you know, is sensational. She remembered all our little idiosyncrasies; we didnt know what to do with ourselves on her day off!

  After reading many of the reviews and speaking with you, it was a no brainer to pick Casa Vista Verde, and I have to say that it lived up to everything we thought it would. I really need to share with you how much we enjoyed your staff, from Cass meeting us at the airport and helping us get back to the airport on time, to Nolvia and Brenda, Raul and Meghan. Meghan was the perfect tour guide slash person who just makes things happen. She was fantastic! Your property is totally amazing, everything about it. We loved it and most of all we love Roatan. We will be back and hope to stay with you again. PS....we were also happy to be the first people to land in your lawn in a Heli!!

  We were excited for our vacation, but never did we imagine that we would enjoy our stay this much. To say the service was incredible would be an understatement. The care and thought put in by the staff both before and during our stay was top notch. Highlights included incredible snorkeling, a fun morning on the Black Pearl golf resort, dinner at Charlies, soaking up the sunshine, and exploring the West End and West Bay. The staff may be the most memorable part of our stay. Raul and Nolvia and Brenda radiated joy and anticipated every need. Nolvia is an amazing cook - we all wanted to bring her home with us! Cass and Meghan were fun, upbeat, and organized. Thank you for a fun & fabulous time and all the memories!

  We were thoroughly impressed with how you and Cass run this house- we have never experienced such organization from start to finish. We have rented five different homes with VRBO to date and this was, by far, the best experience with the most exceptional service. We really can't say enough for how much the staff made our stay enjoyable. If we come back to Roatan, we'll be sure to contact you. And if we ever decide to buy a house and rent it - we'll contact you as well because we can only hope we'd run a house as well as you did!
