Why the Owner Chose Toronto
In fact, I did not choose to buy a vacation rental property. I lived in this home for several years and decided it was larger than I needed for my family. Friends recommended that I rent out this property furnished on a short term basis because of its size and location. I fell into this market, unexpectedly, and discovered I really like my home being used for visiting guests. I have met so many wonderful people from all around the world who have come to Toronto to visit, families gathering for a wedding or special event, to attend sporting events, or meet friends for a reunion. Everyone has expressed how they have felt immediately at home and loved the location. That truly makes me feel good!
The Unique Benefits at this House
It's in an ideal location! Beautiful street, safe neighborhood, lots of good neighbors, big old homes with lots of charm and character. Everything is accessible and steps away. Great restaurants, lots of lovely shops, subways stations at the corner, coffee shops all around.

I've lived in many areas of Toronto and love this neighborhood the best. It's the perfect blend of adult life - lots of superb restaurants and nice clubs - combined with a community feel filled with professionals of all sorts with families. I work as producer/director downtown right in the heart of all the major landmarks - Rogers Center, CN Tower, Air Canada Center, Roy Thomson Hall, the major theaters and art galleries - all minutes from my home. That's the beauty of Toronto - it offers so much!

Charming Spacious Home With Easy Access To The City

I rented this home with friends on my first ever trip to Canada from the US. The home is beautiful and well-appointed, remarkably comfortable, and very accessible on the surface streets and the subway. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood itself provides everything you could possibly need within walking distance - both national chains and unique storefronts and restaurants unique to The Danforth and Greektown. The property owner is a pleasure to work with. I would definitely reside at this property again. Keep in mind, this is an established quiet neighborhood, not a party zone.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This beautiful house was our home base while we were in Toronto for a family reunion at Christmas. It was perfect! The rooms were exactly as pictured and very spacious, especially the third floor loft. The kitchen was very well equiped. The piano was a lovely bonus as was the wood burning fireplace. The house was spotless and there was even a decorated Christmas tree to welcome us! The location is amazing - so close to the subway and to the great shops along the Danforth. The owner was really friendly and helpful from the first contact to the follow-up. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a central location with lots of character and lots of space.

Six adults and three infants stayed at this house. It provided everything we needed. The little park across the street was great for the little ones and the neighbourhood was friendly and safe. We would highly recommend this house for your Toronto visit.

This home was so perfect for a 5 week stay in toronto. It is a great neighborhood, with tasty food, and nice people. And the commute to downtown was never more than 30 minutes, door to door. As for the home, it's got a very classy living space with a beautiful fireplace and a kitchen that is great for family dinners. A backyard that blooms beautifully in the summer, as we did make a return visit because we enjoyed ourselves so much the first time. I stayed in the loft space and slept like a baby every night. Both bathrooms are very clean and there is a TV room in the basement. To come home to this house every evening from work was truly comforting and very enjoyable. I highly suggest anyone considering this place to act fast.
