LA MANZANILLA BEACH HOUSE
If you like a spectacular view of beach and ocean at your doorstep and the ambience of a small, friendly Mexican village, you will enjoy this tropical paradise on the Tenacatita Bay. A fantastic place for a vacation in Mexico! At the beach house you can relax in comfortable accommodations with fresh ocean breezes, unlimited ocean views, and all with the easiest access to an exceptional beach.
With moderate waves for the best swimming, long sandy beaches for great walking, jogging, or bicycle riding, you will agree that it really couldn't get much better than this. View the diverse sea life such as dolphins, birds, and whales that live in the waters of our pristine bay. Guided fishing trips are available. Visit the crocodile sanctuary and see first hand these amazing prehistoric creatures. Kayaks are available at the beach house. With these you can explore the islands and remote beaches. Bring your snorkel and mask. There are fantastic locations in the coral reefs perfect for viewing the amazing underwater world. And the waters are warm!
The charming pueblo has much to offer and is easy to access on foot. Stroll, explore, and take in the sights and sounds of this unique seaside village. You will find a variety of tiendas, crafts and craft markets, art gallery, bookstore, restaurants with varied menus from Mexican to international cuisine, sports bar/restaurant, local live music, beach restaurants with shade umbrellas and colorful beach venders, internet cafe, sea food and fish market, and the lovely town plaza where you can meet the people and experience the rich Mexican culture. The diverse population of La Manzanilla has brought the opportunity to the visitor to partake in many other activities including yoga, art workshops, Spanish language courses, Latin dance, catering, fresh baking, and much more.
The upstairs bungalow has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed where the sound of the gentle ocean surf will lull you to sleep. It has a large bathroom remodeled with handmade Mexican tile and marble. The livingroom-kitchen, located in the open air terrazza, has everything you need for comfort and cooking. You also have the adjoining balcony overlooking the beach with sweeping views of the bay. The second bedroom is available for more guests and has a queen and a single.
The downstairs bungalow has a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a patio door to the tropical gardens and your own private palm shaded patio, a lovely remodeled bathroom, a large living room with patio doors leading to the cool shade ramada, gardens, and beach. The Mexican charm of arches leads you to the ample kitchen totally equipped for cooking and dining and has views of the beach and ocean. Handcrafted Mexican tile and artwork are used throughout. The downstairs is excellent for 1-2 people to enjoy the ambience of old Mexico in the comforts of home.
The beach house compound is walled, gardened, and private. Secure parking is available. Our friendly maid comes twice weekly to clean and provide fresh linens and towels.
