  If you are going to rent a place for a long time (2 months), this is the type of home and owner you want to do it with. John is a very concerned and caring owner. He and his wife have renovated the townhome showing off their incredible taste and class. Great stay; unfortunately, this review (among other favorable ones) will make its availability more scarce. THANK YOU JOHN!!!

  This was an excellent property to rent. It was as described and very beautiful. It was even better than pictures showed. The owner was very helpful in regard to house and to visiting the area attractions. We were about 20 minutes from everything except Disneyland. If we are in the area again we hope to rent this property again.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.

  We really enjoyed our one week stay at this property. This is a luxury home with all the amenities. We really appreciated the terrace with the view on the golf course. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. After spending the day visiting, our 2 girls (10 and 13) really enjoyed the pool (very short walk from the house). I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the San Diego area. Thank you John for this wonderful stay !

  We loved staying in this fabulous home on the golf course! The decor and furnishings are beautiful, very clean, wonderful kitchen, spacious updated rooms, top of the line features, great golf course view and more! We enjoyed the patio with the BBQ, the pool, and the park across the street. The owners were wonderful to work with and very accommodating! We will highly recommend this home to our friends and family who visit in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

  This was a great location about 20 minutes from anywhere in San Diego you want to go. Very comfotable and relaxing after sight seeing. My son loved the showers he said it was an "experience" not just a shower. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

  We had the most amazing vacation experience in this beautiful property. We walked through the front door and my wife said, “WOW”.  Hardwood floors, Viking appliances, flat panel televisions, and super comfortable furniture and beds make this home truly top notch.  We enjoyed the quiet location in a great community.  Everything is so close from theaters, restaurants, grocery stores, and great shopping all within five minutes. The location is also perfect because it’s central to all the attractions in San Diego.  We relaxed and played at Del Mar beach, went to the Zoo, Seaworld, and Legoland.  We enjoyed the attractions but my best memories will be the fun times connecting as a family. We really enjoying sunsets on the patio overlooking the golf course, barbequing, playing games and watching movies together.  The property is spacious, well-appointed, and exquisitely maintained.  Some of the other features that add to the experience are the pool and hot tub, attached garage, and just the comfort of a home. Add all that with direct dealings with an organized, friendly and gracious owner and our experience made for great memories.  We would love to return.

  Having not been to San Diego my friends advised me to stay near the beach-BUT they were wrong! This beautifully decorated home with top of the line appliances was a dream for a famliy of 5! It was centrally located to all the activities we were doing and only about 15 to 20 min car ride from downtown San Diego (no traffic problems!) Gated community. Home was very clean and well kept! There was plently of space for everyone and it was steps to the heated pool. The owners had everything we needed-plenty of towels including beach, all paper products, kitchen was fully stocked and some bath products. TV and cable in all rooms. We were a 3 minute car ride from grocery stores, gas stations, dining and retail shops. In general I would classify the city of Poway as an upper to upper middle class very family oriented city, meaning I felt very very safe. We did have one small problem-the cable box downstairs died. But Iam still giving 5 stars because it wasn't the owners fault the cable box died and when we called he made EVERY atttempt to rectify the matter ASAP. We ended up switching out cable box from one of the upstair rooms which took us 2 minutes. And the owners were in contact with us whenever we had a question. I was not disappointed and would recommend this property to anyone visiting area! Enjoy!

  We had a wonderful week at this beautiful condo! The property was gorgeous and very well equipped. John was easy to work with and attentive to our questions. The location is convenient to the sights of San Diego, yet feels private.

  My wife, Barbara, and I stayed at this beautiful townhouse for seven weeks during September and October 2011 and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. As South African travellers we were really impressed with the size and location of John’s place – it had enough room for the two of us as well as the extended family (grandchildren included) when they came to sleep over on several occasions. John has gone above and beyond to make sure that the townhouse is a home away from home for holidaymakers and we didn’t want for anything while we were there. The modern appliances, top quality finishes and lovely décor were in line with what one would expect from an upmarket rental like this one. The location is also great and was a major factor in our decision to stay here. The townhouse lies within a gated community and is secure and well maintained. The grounds are stunning and the sparkling pool was a welcome a relief on warm days. But it was John’s attention to detail that resonated with us the most… He is a charming host and is always available to answer questions or provide information about the local attractions. We highly recommend this spot and would most definitely book again without hesitation.
