Yes it is close to everything. Yes it is clean. Yes it was comfortable except for the movers and construction next door. Got very little sleep while there. First night singing and screaming in the street. In the morning hammering next door. The following night at about 10:30, I thought it was a fire truck that put up it's ladder...but I was wrong. It was movers, who unmercifully, moved four truck loads of furniture in though the window directly across from ours. They finally brought the ladder down at 4:22 am, then the last truck with it's singing moving crew left at 5:00am. The last night of our stay there was minimal noise, so we finally got some sleep,
Owner response:Dear Danielle, Unfortunately you have stayed on special days that coincided with the removal of a bank located in front of our building. A bank doesn't move every day ... and not even once a year. How was your stay without this problem? I think it's fair to point out the inconvenience but the episode was totally foreign to responsibility on my part. The fact that it happened during the night is due to the lack of civic sense of who authorized the move. I hope you give me note that I tried to help as best I could following the situation and talking to you to find a point of meeting,including permission to leave your luggage beyond the check out time,(I was asked for that by you and then ignored without even saying goodbye). It's unfortunate to receive this feedback when the main reason why I try to work well is to ensure you a good holiday. Best Regards Luca & Stefano

The apartment was perfect for our needs. The space is much larger than it appears in the pictures. The master bedroom and walk-in closet were very spacious! The reservation and check-in process were seamless. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our 3-night stay there. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. What you need to take note of is that you have to replenish your supply of toilet rolls..:) The location is perfect - within walking distance from most of the tourist attractions and right smack in the midst of the shopping streets - between Valentino and Sisley! Good for family with children should the little ones need to take a break from all the walking. We were thankful that they allowed us a late check-out at 1.30pm. Overall, good value for money!

Nice spacious apartment right in the middle of an upscale area in Florence just one block from the Duomo. It suited the needs of our family of four, and we loved the location with the exception of a little too much noise at night. The owners have provided plently of towels, sheets, pillows and blankets for a stay at any time of year. The apartment was clean and the host, Luca, was very helpful. The photos do accurately reflect the apartment's appearance. The bathroom, while stylish, was not real functional. Water ends up all over the floor after a shower. Additionally, I would suggest some rugs, or added artwork to soften and warm the place up. But overall, we were always happy to come come back to it in the evening.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for 3 nights over Easter 2010. The location was perfect - walking distance to all Florence has to offer. Around the corner from the Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was extemely comfortable. The apartment is much larger than it apears on the net, in a beautiful old building. Lucca met us on arrival and gave us maps of Florence and useful information regarding what was open over the Easter period. Florence was very busy over Easter but we did not notice any excessive noise at night. We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Florence. Sue & Hans. Melbourne Australia

Nice apartment in a great location around the corner from the Duomo. Very easy to walk everywhere. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Nice to have a dishwasher. Owner's representative gave us a helpful map of Florence and pointed out the locations of areas we wanted to see. There was some street noise at night from a nearby piazza where it sounded like a concert was occurring. Other than that, the apartment was clean and comfortable for our stay of four nights.
