This is a great apartment in a fantastic neighborhood of tree lined streets with lots of character and things to do and see. The apartment has just been thoroughly renovated. It is on two floors of a lovingly restored brownstone townhouse and is impeccably clean. It has its own private entrance and is approximately 1150 sq. feet.
The top floor of the apartment has an open living/dining/kitchen area, as well as a bedroom and full bathroom. The lower floor has two double beds separated by a half bathroom (with a toilet and a sink). Many rentals use the living room as a room for sleeping in. Not this one! It has a living room plus three unique sleeping spaces. (See photos)
There is a computer with cable internet access in the apartment so you can stay in touch through emailing and skype, and for internet searches to help you organize your activities. There is also WiFi, cable TV, a CD player,a washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster in the unit.
The apartment is spotless and inviting, and in one of the best locations in Park Slope for its convenience to all the best restaurants, shops and services. You will love Park Slope - with just the right amount of action/activity combined with a friendly, safe community feel. And this apartment is right in the heart of it all!
The subway is 2 1/2 blocks away and takes 15 minutes to reach Manhattan.
$50 cleaning fee.

Loved this charming and spacious rental. Great location, comfortable, and modern. Lovely backyard space, bright and cheery and overall, great for families. Host was also very accommodating and patient with our travel plans, which changed frequently because of delayed flights.

We are very familiar with New York and Park Slope is one of the nicest neighbourhoods in the city and we were right in the heart of it. Who needs the West Village when you can stay right here and not be overrun by tourists. Jason was an extremely accommodating host and the apartment was enormous, very clean and had all the amenities one could want during a short or long term visit.

This apartment was a fantastic place to stay. We were a group of 5 staying in New York for a month and Park Slope became our home away from home. Jayson was very accommodating, he even shoveled the stoop and pathway for us the day after a blizzard. Location was very convenient. Subway just round the corner that would take you 20minutes into the city and plenty of fantastic restaurants along 5th avenue to accommodate our vegan and gluten free housemates. None of us could fault the apartment itself, dishwasher, cleaning products, washing machine and dryer; there was no need for any hard labour and trudging through the snow to a laundromat, so we were able to relax. The free wifi was also perfect and allowed us to keep in contact with home and help us organise our sightseeing. We recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay for a while in New York or has a large group.

We stayed with 5 adults in this excellent apartment in a relaxed neighbourhood (bakery, supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars). The nice owner was there when we arrived to show us all. The metro is 5 minutes walking and you are in twenty minutes in Manhattan. We can recommend this apartment, it is clean, and is well equipped

The five of us have just returned from a very pleasant stay at this apartment in Brooklyn. It is only 5 minutes walk to the 'D' line subway, which runs in to Manhattan and connects easily to all the other routes you need to explore New York. The place was well kitted out, quiet and clean. The owner was very helpful even letting us stay beyond the usual checking out time. Brooklyn makes a great base, much cheaper than Manhattan, family friendly and lots of cool bars, restaurants and shops. All on a scale that is easier to get your head around than Manhattan.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for 7 days with our 3 children. It was as described and very spacious. We cooked most nights in the glorious kitchen (the appliances are all 'top of the line')! The washer, dryer and dishwasher made the week a pleasure. Much to our surprise, the apartment was extremely quiet, considering it's central location, and the beds were all very comfortable. Having a computer and the internet was wonderful as we were away from home for 4 weeks, with this, the only opportunity we had to 'connect' by email. Thank you!! A short walk to the subway had us in Manhattan in no time, and the stores/restaurants in Park Slope are just around the corner. Jayson was lovely to deal with in the lead up to and during our stay. I can highly recommend this for any family or small group looking to stay in Brooklyn!

We rented out this fabulous Brooklyn apartment for our family who were coming to New York for two weeks from London. The owner was very accommodating and let us come to check it out twice prior to their stay, and for four adults and two children we got an excellent price – especially compared to hotels in Brooklyn. We were able to “check-in” early and the owner also gave us two sets of keys which was very convenient. The apartment was spacious, clean and well-kitted out with bed linen and kitchenware. The owner has done a great job of providing adequate seating in the living room, and a really comfortable place to stay. The duplex layout provides privacy, and access to the garden is a huge bonus for any New York apartment. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly, and within 30 seconds you’re on 5th Avenue, which has all manner of restaurants, bars and boutiques to keep you occupied; and the subway is just two blocks away on 4th Avenue. There’s a lot to see and do in Brooklyn and this apartment is central to all of that. The only drawback to the apartment was that with two children under three years old the open stairs were a little precarious, but for families with older children this would be a great place to stay. The owner has provided a computer with free wi-fi which is incredibly useful and convenient for visitors, books, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. There’s an enviable amount of closet space and the apartment feels both safe and homely, but modern enough to feel like you’re staying in a hotel. We would definitely rent this apartment again. CVL

My husband and daughter and I just spent a week at this wonderful two story apartment. For the same price we would have paid for a hotel room, we got three bedrooms, a kitchen (super convenient!), washer & dryer, internet access (yay!) and a little back deck full of greenery. The neighborhood is beautiful, tree-lined and safe, and you're just a few blocks from Prospect Park - great for kids! The market on the corner had everything we needed, Blue Ribbon Sushi around the corner was great and the nearby subway was a quick ride to the city. A lovely, quiet place to come home to after a day of fun - Thanks Jayson!
