Akumal: Huge 1400 square feet - Two Bedroom, two full bath with large room accommodations. This is a top floor end unit which provides maximum privacy and quiet. As a top floor end unit, fresh ocean breezes flow through this unit so most of the time A/C is not even needed. You can then enjoy the wonderful fresh air and sounds of the ocean, tropical birds and jungle.

Full kitchen, dining room, living room with the most spectacular view of Half Moon Bay and the Caribbean anywhere in Akumal! Vaulted ceilings with ten foot picture windows offer spectacular view of Half Moon Bay and Caribbean from living room, kitchen, dining area and master bedroom. Bedrooms furnished with California King-size beds. Both bedrooms also have wonderful views of the pool, lush tropical grounds and ocean. This is the ultimate romantic location for couples.

Three decks; front deck with chairs and table, off living room, overlooks Half Moon Bay and Caribbean. Deck off each bedroom overlooks pool, courtyard, lush grounds with views of ocean and jungle. The property has the largest swimming pool, in Akumal, with fountains. Condo has Satellite TV with approximately 200 channels including all US network channels; also DVD player is provided and stereo player for CDs, cassettes and radio.

Bedroom veranda's also have chairs and table for your viewing pleasure. Master bedroom dressing table has a wall mounted hair dryer and second bath also has a hair dryer. Condo is air conditioned (OPTIONAL) with three separate split A/C units that have individual controls for maximum comfort. Twenty-four degrees celsius is the best comfort level as these units will cool off a room in about five minutes. Also ceiling fans in all rooms, including kitchen. There is a Safe in condo for your use. Games and books in the condo for your use! Alarm clocks are furnished.

Just a two block walk to fabulous Yal-Ku Lagoon. Great large pool facilities. A lap pool on main pool. A second pool in the shade.
Wehave on site management, that is just wonderful! They are there day and nite.
California King-size beds in each bedroom. You can get to Akumal by flying into Cancun Airport, it is then a 60 mile south drive. You also can fly into Cozumel and taking ferry across to Playa del Carmen and rent a car or take a transfer to Akumal-30 miles.

  • Air Conditioning: Three separate split A/C units- 1 in Living area and one in each bedroom with individual controls for your comfort. These units are high powered and will cool the area in about 5 minutes. Please keep at around 24' celcius for best comfort. A/C is optional for $15 per day. Since our unit is on the top floor with fantastic breezes, air conditioning is not needed many times during the year.
  • Linens Provided: Bring you own beach towels for pool and beach, We appreciate you doing so as we lose to many if ours is taken out of the condo. There is a place to hang your up on coming back in.
  • Off Street Parking: Unassigned parking is located by the office and readily assessible to the property.

Blender, toaster, coffee pots, electric mixer, electric fry pan, Plenty of Dishes, pots and pans and cutlery for your use. Celing fan in the kitchen also. We have everything you will need.lastic cups and dishes for the litle ones!

These veranda's and views are a highlight of this condo and offer a very romantic atmosphere. Fresh breezes flow thru daily with the sounds of the ocean and tropical birds.

  • We had a real nice time. It was the perfect getaway and we really needed it. Everything worked out well. You have a great place…let me know if you want to sell it. Also, having the car worked out very well. We also took a side trip down to the Grand Cenote (Tulum) as well as some of the beaches down there. That’s a beautiful area too. Other than that trip, we pretty much ate at all the local spots. I liked the shrimp tacos at La Buena Vida and the snorkeling was great (we did that the most) at Half Moon and Yal Ku. It made my trip when I saw and followed a turtle! Thanks again for all the extra guidance. Dave

  • Hello Aileen! Thank-you for asking. We had a wonderful time. A fairy-tale vacation. Your condo is lovely and suited us perfectly. It is very well-supplied and I appreciated the plastic cups and plates as we have two boys age 6 and 8. We enjoyed the breeze from the ocean (some nights the blasting wind!) and the incredible view.   • Hi Aileen, We have been to Akumal about 8-9 times and your condo is by far the best place we have stayed. We totally agree with all the positive comments other's in your guest book have made.The views from your balcony ( all 3)are probably the best views in all of Akumal.We loved the peace and tranquility of watching the sunset everynight. Going to sleep to the sound of the waves and waking to the bird calls in the morning made us feel like we were in our own little paradise! One of the restaurants not menioned by some of the others is Lucy's. It's just a small place behind the grocery store but it has the BEST shrimp tacos and homemade ice cream---yummy! The one tour we would recommend is the Sian Ka'an Biosphere national preserve down by Tulum. You can book the tour right at the travel place in Akumal.   • Aileen, Jan.30,08 Yes you were on my mind to give a call to. But we just returned to Snow and employees not showing up for work and such. Your place was wonderful! What a view, spent most of our evening time on the patio. Snorkeling was great everywhere we went, especially in Akumal bay with the turtles and barracudas. We went out to Coba, which was fantastic and then to 3 Mayan cenotes close by Coba. This was quite an experience Climbing down into these caves and swimming in the beautiful clear water. We went to Aktun chen and Tulum as well. But the dinners were the best, especially at La Lunita! I speak Spanish and a person came out to our table, it was the chef; we talked about the way he makes his sauces, butter, salsa etc. Just as we were having dessert he sent another (but different) plate of food out to my table. Wow! And the last night we were there we went back, had another long conversation about his cooking ( I think I called him an artist in the cocina) and after eating my plate of food he sent me another plate of 2 types of langostinos. Lucky and fat me! I have a recipe I am going to send him in return. So in a nutshell we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for your gracious offer of your place, it really made our vacation awesome. I think La Sirena is one of the nicest condos on the beach. Cherie & Eric Siegmund

  • La Sierena Condo in Akumal/Half moon bay is absolutely awesome! The view from the condo is fabulous thru the giant picture windows. Has a large veranda that I can spend a whole day on.(PLUS two more smaller private verandas). Waking up in the morning to the most gorgeous clear blue water view of the Caribbean Bay is fabulous. Unbelievable! Simply walk down the stairs to snorkel. La Seirena has perfect swimming/snorkeling areas. Calm waters. Pool on site is very nice, even has a lap pool. The apartment decor is authentic and extremely comfortable. Very clean. Kitchen has everything you need and MORE. Akumal town is such a fun getaway. Plenty of good eateries and a grocery store I loved. Plenty of shops for great souvenirs. I will definetly return.

  • LaSirena #10 was a very relaxing place for my family (boy, age 11 and girl, age 8) to stay. We love the location which is ideally private, yet very accessible to great snorkling (half moon bay), pool, restaurants and pleasant walks.
