  Had a great time at Ocean Mist only 5 minutes from the new modern airport. Everything was just as shown, all top shelf & the views were unbleaveable. We were able to keep the glass doors open from both the living room & the master bedroom during the day & evening while listening to the sounds of the ocean & feeling the warm breezes. We rented the available Toyota and saved some money by doing so and quickly became use to driving on the left side of the road just by following the other vehicles. We will return again next year.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

  Being new to v.r.b.o we were very concerned with the reliability of the info provided about the properties listed. My wife and I are realtors in Florida and we wanted to take our 7yr old son on a trip where we could spend quality time together. After reading the reviews and the amenties offered at the Ocean Mist listing; we decided that it was the one for us. The process was pretty simple and the owner answered all of our questions. The airport is literally 5-10mins away from the house. When we arrived at the property we were in awe of how amazing the stretch of beach is and how private it felt to us. The house felt like a home and had all the creature comforts and updated amenities we were looking for. The house was exactly as the pictures had shown; fantastic ocean views from the living and master bedrooms and the house was spotless clean. The rental car that we opted for was a must for getting to and from and it was also clean and new. Once we settled in; it was great weather and wonderful beaches day in and out. the pool and ocean temperatures were perfect. This place is a get a way from it all spot to enjoy the company of who you travel with. We spent one our days at Atlantis which is about 30min drive from the house and it really made us appreciate having our house all to ourselves as the lines were long and the food was very expensive at the resort. We our very satisfied with our experience and I would highly recommend the Ocean Mist and we look forward to returning next year or sooner. Thanks for the great memories!

  Stayed for a week with wife and 2 year old - place was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room. Rental car is a must as ocean front is rocky and not condusive to playing in the sand. Pool was small and water was cold, but spent most of the time at the beach anyway(Nirvana - about mile to west). Nice view of the ocean from upper and lower decks, a little noise from the street traffic, but not bad. Restaurant next door was great, live music on weekends, but none during the week. Bottom line - if you are not looking to eat out every meal and avoid the hotel feel, this place is great.

  This townhouse is an amazing deal. The views were incredible with the most beautiful ocean you can imagine right outside. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with all of the basics you could ever need. Having a washer and dryer was also very helpful. I had read on another site about a dog barking from one of the townhouses next door . We did not experience this problem at all. There was a dog next door but it was very sweet and did not bark much. The property is right next door to a restaurant/bar called Travelers rest. They have a live band on Fri, Sat and Sun. We walked over there a couple of nights. A couple of other nights we just used the grill on the patio and walked over to the beach and watched the sun go down. We also went to Compass Point which is just a west of the townhouse (need a car), it is a fantastic place to eat and have some drinks. Also don't miss the Daiquiri Shack a few miles to the east by the caves. If you decide to say here I would recommend renting a car. I know many travel forums don't recommend driving but we did not find it to be too harrowing after the first day. We would definitely say here again.

  We had a very enjoyable stay at Ocean's mist. The townhome was nicely furnished, had comfortable beds and was well maintained. It had everything you need to eat meals in with nice appliances, grill, and an outdoor table. The view was beautiful. We walked next door to the restaurant on Wednesday night and listened to an island jazz band, drove down the street to the Compass Point restaurant to watch the sunset, and drove into Nassau for some of the best grouper and conch. The property manager was easily reachable and very helpful. We would highly recommend this townhome and if we come back to Nassau, would definitely stay here again!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway.
