This unit was fabulous - full of amenities, spacious, beautiful & a view of the sunset to die for. Everything in perfect working order. Our party of four lacked for nothing. The beautiful Hapuna beach only 2 minutes & free parking. If you need a business center, the hotel facilities are available. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the Big Island.

Absolutely wonderful! We spent 11 days there with 6 adults & loved it. Quiet community, great location, beautiful scenic surroundings. Terrific open floor plan with large great room, 3 beautiful bathrooms & bedrooms, and a gourmet kitchen – stainless appliances, granite counter tops, etc. All 3 bathrooms were fantastic, with top notch fixtures and tile work. Nice furnishings, beautiful natural stone floor, great lighting and elegant décor – a very upscale unit which really impressed us. The wall facing the ocean in the great room consisted of a multiple panel sliding patio door which opened to the lanai. The hillside location provided lots of cool fresh breeze, so we seldom needed the AC. The large wrap around lanai provides panoramic views of the golf course fairway and Kohala Mountains to the north, and the ocean to the west. Although we were a good distance from the ocean, we saw a whale one morning (with binocs), and goats on a nearby hillside. Since it is the last unit on the cul-de-sac, it’s very private. There is also an outdoor kitchen on the covered portion of the lanai where we ate every breakfast and many other meals. Wireless wi-fi worked great. There is a nice community center with exercise room, pool and hot tub, but we spent most of our time on the beach in front of the Mauna Kea or Hapuna Beach Prince hotels! You must either drive down or take the shuttle (too far to walk), but no big deal. The beach towels and 4 folding chairs provided were a real plus, and we used them every day. We enjoyed the washer and dryer, which allowed us to pack half the clothes we would normally bring. There were a few minor things which we felt were not on par with the rest of the unit, but certainly did not prevent us from enjoying it. First, although the kitchen appliances would delight any gourmet cook, the available cookware was frustratingly poor – a mishmash of low quality pots, pans, etc. Second, there was little in the way of patio furniture to help enjoy the fantastic lanai. The 6 wooden folding chairs and table were fine for meals, but poor for lounging. Third, the bed linens were well-worn and marginal, which surprised us given the upscale character of this unit. Bottom line: everyone in our party loved this condo, and we will definitely make an effort to return!
Owner response:After reading this review the unit was inspected and several cookware items were replaced with new and brought up to standard. We also replaced any worn linens with new. We welcome guest comments and take them very seriously.
