My husband and I have built our dream home and our very large home where we raised
our children is next door. It is a beautiful furnished Mexi-modern home and could
be a wonderful home for a large, well-behaved family of for a group of serious students or teachers at the very near Spanish Immersion school. We love Mexico and
know that you will too, and will especially enjoy staying in this beautiful home.
My husband and I are Mexican Americans. We lived in Chicago for many years and then returned to
our wonderful area here at Lakeside. Having had a successful chain of Mexican restaurants in
the U.S., we were able to build our own home and to acquire some properties which we care for
and rent. We enjoy sharing our paradise with others and of course this source of income which
enables us to do so.
The Lake Chapala area is known as a gay friendly, where artists, musicians and writers gather. It is an area of "live and let live" in which people from around the world find the second best climate in the world; friendly, helpful people in the community; great restaurants; an ex-pat
center where many retirees share their expertise with classes and lectures, and stress free living. It is often described as "another day in Paradise" and it really is. Here, you can be
as busy or as idle as you wish. This area is truly a retiree's dream location.
