This beautiful one-year old cabin is nestled in the mountain resort community of the Coosawattee River Resort. It is located in the pristine setting of Georgia’s Northwest High Country, where Mother Nature’s beauty is bountiful.
You can enjoy all the amenities the resort offers such as the clubhouse which features an indoor salt Olympic-size heated pool, child's pool, exercise room, game room with pool table, foosball, table tennis, pin ball and various other games, snack bar and sitting area with large screen TV. Other amenities at the main clubhouse include a picnic area, tennis court, basketball court, miniature golf course and shuffleboard.
There is tubing on the Coosawattee River, a teen center with an outdoor pool, ponds stocked with fish (no catch limit or fishing license required), and hiking trails. Nearby is Carters Lake, which can be used for boating, fishing, jet skiing, lying out in the sun, kayaking, canoeing, camping, hiking and golfing. Horseback riding can be found at the entrance to the Eagle Mountain Gate. Shopping, antiquing and a variety of restaurants are available in the nearby surrounding area.
Cable TV is provided downstairs in the living room and bedroom, and upstairs in the loft and in the other bedroom. The cabin also has a garage (remote provided) and comes equipped with washer and dryer. It is tastefully and simply decorated, and has all the touches that make you feel at home. A full kitchen can also be used as you please.
Whitewater rafting on nearby Nantahala River can provide a thrill for those who are seeking it. Old town Ellijay offers a quaint setting, small restaurants, shops and antiques. The Blue Ridge Mountain railway offers the spectacular views of the season and it is something the entire family can take pleasure in.
Don’t forget that you are only a short drive away from Atlanta, with its treasure of sites and activities (Professional and College Sports, Aquarium) as well as Chattanooga (boat tours and amusement parks) and Pigeon Forge, TN, (Dollywood) and Cherokee Casino.
