Welcome to the Slice O' Life! Our beachside cottage was built for the enjoyment of family and friends. Building homes is one of my passions and meeting people is another. I get to do both through our little slice of sand on Carillon Beach. I grew up in Jacksonville, lived for several years in Shreveport, LA and then lived in the Vinings area of Atlanta, GA while my husband and I raised our two great kids. Our daughter is a top Realtor in Atlanta while our son is an attorney in New Orleans. We just lost our 2 pampered rescue Weimaraners, Duke & Sadie within months of each other this past summer. Check out their portrait on our walls when you visit! We really do miss them. I now sell real estate in our beautiful area and get to see the clear blue waters each and every day. Slice O Life was all we hoped for. Right on the beach. Beautiful views. A lot less crowded than 30-A properties, but close enough to enjoy if you want. Almost private beach most of the week. The owners were very kind, even greeted us when we arrived. The property itself as well as the whole community is very well kept and clean. The pools and tennis courts and common ground were beautiful. All was as pictured on the sight. The house was well appointed with everything you might need both in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. I wouldn't suggest no more than four people in the house. It is small, but perfect for a family of four. You are not crowded with high rises on the beach. Grocery stores were right across the street. Not many restaurants right on property, but short drive to 30-A for great restaurants including Goatfeathers and Stinky's. I am definitely recommending this property to others.

Fall is the best. Several of my family members have stayed at different time at this tranquil cottage by the beach. Perfect for 4 or 5 friends and family. You'll never want to leave the beach side porch! When you first walk up the flowers and greenery immediately relax you. Hope the owners never change a thing about this special place!

This cottage is the BEST! Not far for friends from Texas and New Orleans! New airport makes it easy to get to from DC too. Everything is just like the photos. You'll never want to leave the porch looking out at the dolphins and enjoying your favorite beverage! Great restaurants close by. Not crowded like 30-A. We love staying here. We love the beach right out your door! Getting ready to book another stay! Perfect for 2 couples or 4-5 friends.

My family of 3 loved staying in Slice O' Life cottage! The Carillon community is wonderful. Close to great restaurants, shopping, biking and boating. The beach is just steps away and was never too crowded! We loved the beach front view and having coffee on the porch each morning. The house is very clean and comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

I have stayed at this cottage many times and have always had a wonderful visit. Our last was no exception. This home is truly a beach-front oasis. You literally have to drag me off the porch overlooking the ocean when it is time to leave! This home is very clean and has well appointed bedrooms and there is even an outdoor shower that makes it easy to rinse off after you walk up from the beach. The home is close to one of the three community pools and it's an easy walk to Downtown Carillon. It is a short drive to Pier Park for restaurants & shopping. Thanks to the owners for always being very hospitable...we will continue to vacation at Slice O' Life year after year!

We stayed in this darling beach house the last week of May, 2009. House was right on the beach next to a walkover. Extremely clean and well-equipped. Great mattress! Close enough to Pier Park for teenagers to drive in less than 15 minutes. Perfect for family with young children. Both bedrooms on bottom floor. Pool within walking distance. No problem communicating with owner about check-in, etc.
