This beautiful log home is situated on a ridge overlooking Lake Chatuge. We are within walking distance of a marina with boat launch, docks, boat rentals, and swimming.
The main floor, fully stocked kitchen is open to the living/dining area which have spectacular lake views. Also on the main floor are the master bedroom and bath, laundry room, and an additional half bath.
Upstairs is a guest bedroom and bath as well as a sitting area and a unique bunk area complete with four private beds. The cabin is surrounded by decks for your enjoyment of the majestic views, complete with picnic tables and a gas grill.

Log Cabin with Beautiful Lake and Mountain Views

This listing was very accurate when describing the location of the cabin, spectacular views from the porch, amenities included and area points of interest. The pictures just don't seem to do it justice. The owner was prompt & courteous when answering questions. I simply can't say enough. My kids told my husband it was the best vacation ever. There was plenty of room for everyone in this clean and cozy log cabin setting. There were extra linens, towels, kitchen supplies and chairs for sitting outdoors. The store in town was only a 5 mile drive, whitewater rafting is in close proximity, the marina was at the bottom of the driveway and the area restaurants were excellent (We liked The Boat House Bar & Grill and The Ridges Restaurant). Hiking trails were nearby (Jack Rabbit Mountain), and Lake Chatuge was really clean and a perfect temperature, providing us with fishing, swimming, skiing and sightseeing to enjoy everyday. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or relative. It was a perfect getaway! We can't wait to go back and explore more of this area.
