As you enter this lovely home you will find beautiful hardwood floors and high wood ceilings. There is a newly remodeled, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counters and a commercial grade oven. Living/dining area has a large L-shaped leather couch, wood burning fireplace with fan, large flat screen 40" TV. DVD/VHS/Stereo. Table seating for 12. A sliding door takes you out to a large sunny deck looking out to a beautiful forest and a peak at the lake. There is a hot tub, gas grill, and large picnic table. The Master bedroom has a king bed with attached bath and Jacuzzi bath tub. Also a small bath on this level.
Downstairs is a second master suite with queen bed and full bath, and a TV/DVD/VHS. The third bedroom has a full size bed; kids bedroom has a bunk bed that sleeps 4 and is stocked with games, toys, books, etc. The den has a double futon, computer and printer. There is a third full bathroom plus a laundry room. A porta-crib is available. Two car garage with easy winter access. Snow plow contract and firewood provided. Dollar Point community has tennis courts, pool, beach and pier for Dollar Point members only. The pool and tennis courts are 1/2 mile from our house; the beach is 1.4 miles. We are 20 minutes from world famouse Squaw Valley Ski Resort and within 15-40 minutes to 3 other great ski resorts.

This property was very clean and well maintained. The house was very easy to find and the the directions were easy to follow. I have stayed in this home in both the winter and the summer. The Dollar Point clubhouse came in very hand for my two grandsons. They enjoyed the swimming, tennis & botchi ball. The summer beach was wonderful. One evening we had a large family barbeque on the beach. There was Volley Ball games and plenty of seating for all the guests. In the winter this home was ideal for a large group. There are two large areas for TV watching. A huge library of DVD's & Tapes is available along with a wide screen TV. Wonderful stereo with loads of CD's. Three major ski resorts just minutes away, Squaw Valley, North Star and Alpine Meadows. Also lower key resorts for beginners,at Homewood. Home was very comfortable and had lots of room. New state of the art kitchen , hot tub and large barbeque on the deck. Great resaurants close by. Jakes on the Lake, Sunnyside and Garwoods. Plenty of near by shopping in Truckee and Tahoe City. 20 minutes to North Shore for gambling and dinner. Loads of wonderful hiking areas all around the lake. I would highly recommend this property ot my friends & relatives.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The home was perfect for two families with kids. There was eight of us on vacation, four adults four kids 3,5,8 and 9. Plenty of room for all us and the kids rooms downstairs was great. Many toys for the kids to use, movies legos and boardgames. Location was good, tahoe city was close and northstar was only twenty mins away! We will defenitly be back next year..... Hopefully with more snow!!!!Recommended for: Families with young children.

Our family rented this property with another family for a long ski weekend and it was everything we expected and more. It was extremely spacious and perfect for two families or would be great for one large family. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal. The hot tub is on the deck right off the kitchen, a great way to end a full day of skiing. We love the location, 5 minutes to Tahoe City and 10 minutes to the ski resorts. The owners were very accomodating and responsive to whatever we needed. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying in this wonderfully outfitted and spacious north Lake Tahoe family home and would most certainly recommend it to anyone who is interested in this area! We found it to be clean and well stocked when we arrived and totally appreciated the roominess feeling you will enjoy while staying in this nicely located home! We loved the many choices of local restaurants and other shopping areas nearby in Tahoe City. Be sure to take in the local farmers market held on the town beach each week and enjoy the use of unit's community pool and private beach with it's great group BBQ area!! We will definitely will be returning next year!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

About the owner: My husband and I were born and grew up in Sacramento, California. I have been coming to Tahoe since I was little, both in the winter and the summer. I loved the small town of Tahoe City and have always considered it my second home. After meeting my husband, he too enjoyed vacationing here. Our 4 children all learned to snow ski at Squaw Valley and water ski on the Lake. Now our grandchildren are learning to love it as well. We now live here and rent our home during the winter months so we can enjoy other places.
