This was a fantastic place to vacation. As soon as we stepped in to the house it surpassed our expectations! The house was very clean, well organized and had everything we needed plus more! We loved using the barbeque, eating outside by the pool, relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying a waterfront view (of the canal). The coconut tree, orange tree, and mango tree were also a nice surprise! A local beach is only 10 minutes away with nice sand, a pier to walk on, and racquetball. There are also some great restaurants near the cape coral yacht club. Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island were also nice and close (25 minutes driving). John was great to work with and always replied to our inquiries right away. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks so much John!

This rental property was a welcomed sight after a long day of travel to Florida. It was spacious and well equipped. Unfortunately, the unseasonably cool temperatures during our visit combined with the unheated swimming pool meant that we didn't get to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked. We did, however, enjoy using the spa on a twice daily basis. It is conviently close to several restaurants (Rumrunners at Cape Harbor being our favourite) grocery stores and drug stores. The house and grounds are well maintained, the neighbours friendly and street and canal are quiet.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The home is located in a great neighborhood that is close to everything you need. It's stocked with everything a family needs to have a wonderful time. We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai every morning we were there. John was extremely responsive to our needs, both in advance of arrival and while we were in the home. We were very comfortable and invariably referred to getting back "home" when we were out exploring other parts of Cape Coral and the SW Florida coast. Thanks, John!

This rental property was wonderful to stay at. The owner has provider his renters a home that has everything one could possibly need while staying there, making them feel as if they were at home. The house has a very nice open floor plan, along with a very inviting back yard. The neighborhood this rental is in ,is quiet and in a very good location. Places of interest were easy to get to. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful too. The owner is very accommodating too, wanting his renters to totally enjoy their stay. Coming back to this rental is a must!

This was our second stay here. Once again everything we needed was available. One of the neighbors came over when we were at the pool and introduced himself and made himself available if we should need anything. The pool was refreshing, the hot tub relaxing. We even saw 2 dolphins in the canal one morning. We won't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks to John for making his home available to us.

Truly a home away from home

We just returned from a much too short stay in this wonderful house. From first contact until the day we had to leave this has been an excellent experience. John the owner has been honest and quick with his answers to all questions and the procedure for deposit and payment has been flawless. During our stay, when there were questions, an answer was always just an email away. The house itself is even better than the description and perfectly maintained. The location is ideal, central on the Cape but quiet. The canal is just outside the back door and we even got to see a dolphin in it one morning. Everything you might need is there, from beach towels to pool toys, kitchen utensils and tools. And you have a great neighbor too, should you need anything else. We felt so welcome and at home it was hard to believe we were just vacationers. Why anybody would want to stay in a hotel or condo is a mystery to us. The three bedrooms were perfect for our family of four. The kids stayed in the room with the two beds and my wife and I each got to enjoy our own room at night with a queen size. Awesome! Two Publix supermarkets are just minutes away, as are a number of take-out and sit-in restaurants. The drive Sanibel/Captiva takes only about 30 minutes when you need some sand and shells and don't just want to hang out by the pool. Other attractions are also not too far away, be it the Corkscrew Sanctuary, outlet malls or the many other things the SW Gulf Coast has to offer. I can honestly recommend this house to anybody who is looking for a place to stay in Cape Coral. Hands down the best bargain I could find and I looked hard. We have been to the region several times and we will be back. When we go again we will definitely stay in this house. Thank you so much!

I agree to batmick's review 100%. It was our third stay in Cape Coral (first time this house) and this house was the very best of all. If we come back to Cape Coral, we defintely like to come back to this house. John, thank you for our great vacation.

This was exactly what we were looking for. A nice comfortable place with a beautiful view of the canal in a quiet neighborhood. Everyone was very nice and it was super easy to get around. This house has everything you need. We will definitely stay again here next year.

We spent 8 days in this lovely house, and the kids loved the swimmingpool and spa, the adults too!!! Lovely house with the canal, and we would love to come back!!!

We have been visiting Cape Coral for a few years now and have rented several different houses. This house was by far the BEST! We even got to meet John (the owner) and he was very nice and his hospitality was great. The house is very well taken care of and has everything you need! Just bring your suitcase and yourself and enjoy a beautiful vacation in SW Cape Coral. Thank you John, we enjoyed our vacation and sad to go home. First of all, we will say thank you to the owner. Perfect service, all things will handle very professional. We (we both an two friends) stay in this house for 2 1/2 weeks in May. It was perfect, very quiet, nice furnished and very good access to all things what you can do in Florida. Perfect place to stay.

The house is fantastic, the pool area is bright and very nice, the location is brilliant and John is very easy to deal with. Everything - from the very first contact up to refunding the security deposit - was far beyond our expectation. I will highly recommend this place.

We were very pleased with the rental. The house is extremely clean and well furnished as an example a cooler (which we used several times) and spices that made it easy to entertain. The pictures do not show the comfort and brightness of the home. The weather was cool while we were there but the home is bright and airy with a great view of the channel and the lanai. We have rented other places that were not as nice as the pictures. It is well located and easy to find. The street is quiet and convenient to restaurants and grocery stores.

We had a really great experience renting your Cape Coral home recently. Please don't hesitate to list us as references for any future tenants. We can attest to the pristine condition and very attractive decor of your home, as well as the cost-benefit for the rental, even with just two of us staying there. Your home is nicely situated on a very quiet block, providing the peaceful setting we were looking to experience for our one-week getaway. The computer set up is an amenity we haven't seen at other rentals. We found it very useful in checking the freezing weather back home, finding local attractions and keeping in touch with the world. I visited this property for the first time on August 28, 2010 and it was outstanding. The property is well kept and very organized. It offered the best of both worlds having both a large in ground pool and hot tub. The house was well stocked and very clean. The owner is always accessible and address your needs immediately. I would definately recommend others and will most definately rent this property next year.

Great place to stay. Better than a hotel

My wife and I had business to take care of in Cape Coral, June 2010. Instead of staying at a hotel, we decided to stay at this property. This was a very good choice. The property was very clean, located in a quiet neighborhood, and close to shops and restaurants. It was like having your place in Cape Coral. We had to return to Cape Coral in August 2010 on short notice. The owner, John, was very helpful. On short notice, we again were able to stay at this property. John was readily available, easy to talk to, and easy to work with. I definitely recommend others to rent this property. Thank you John.

We stayed at this property for a week near the beginning of May '10. The place is nicer than the pictures represent. It is on a nice quiet street yet close to the main drag for getting around town. The home was very clean and spacious. The lanai, pool, hot tub and surrounding patio were very nice. This was our first time renting through VRBO and we were very much pleased by how well it all worked and very happy with our choice. We would definitely recommend it and would most definitely return. The owner, John, was very helpful in answering all questions and made the rental process very easy.

The place is even more beautiful in person then one could imagine. It out does staying in a crowded hotel. You have your own private pool, hot tub, dock, and spaciouse clean home with all the needed necessities. Plus John the owner is very friendly and easy to talk too.

My wife and I rented this home the last week of October and also the first week of November of this year, (2009). The rate was so reasonable compared to other homes we have rented in the past it allowed us to extend our vacation for two weeks instead one. We found the home to be extremely clean when we arrived, and were pleasantly surprised when we found the home to be even more beautiful than we expected. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Cape Coral area.

Very Nice Place Located in the nice part of Cape Coral. Great people to deal with. Reasonably priced Located near great restaurants stores ect. Pool was nice to cool off after a long day AAA will defiantly check this place out next time in town
