This place really was awesome. We just got back, and I couldn't wait to write a review for Rick! It's literally across the street from the beach, and every picture is spot on. We thoroughly appreciated having the pack-n-play and highchair for our baby, and there was even a wagon to haul our stuff to the beach-not to mention all the beach toys there to enjoy! We weren't sure at the time, but there were even 2 grills for us to use too! I have absolutely no complaints, and have recommended this place to many friends already--hopefully they don't reserve MY week next year! Thanks again!!!!

We recently spent a week with our family in Gulf Shores . It was the best and pretty sure this will be a yearly event . Thanks for the rental of your beach home , worked out perfectly for our family ! Only thing I can recomend is to check the dryer before you go buy towels . Even with that , no complaints , can always use extra new towels at home . Thanks in helping our family have a perfect vacation ! Hope to see you next year !

My family and I have just returned from our vacation. This condo is beautifully decorated and very spacious. It was large enough to accommodate 8 people comfortably and is well equipped too. This condo is in a safe and central location. There is a small grocery store next door to this condo unit too. We look forward to renting this condo again for our next family vacation.

This townhome was everything it was stated to be and more. We enjoyed every minute spent there and plan on coming back again! we was there 2 months very nice clean place ,had everything you need in every room and more too.we really enjoyed our time there ,we love goning to the state parks walking trails the mardi gras was great.. ate at some very good places like tacky jacks ,shirmp basket ,lulu and others all had great food ..you just go down the steps and there is a wonderfull store called pier 33 they had just about anything you would need...short distance to beach or bay ,you could sit on front deck in some nice comfortable furiture and see the oceans and hear the waves.WE REALLY LOVED THE PLACE IS IN A GREAT LOCATION,HOPE TO GO BACK THEIR AGAIN IF HE WILL HAVE US HAHA!!!!!!

Wonderful Beach Experience!

Thank you so much for renting your beach home. Everything was clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I so appreciated the vacuum for cleaning the sand. We had a wonderful week and were not ready to come home. Your tips on what to see and do were very helpful also. We visited Lamberts, Bahama Bobs, Pier 33 (often), observed fishing from the state pier, took a day trip to Pensacola, Fort Morgan and Shrimp Fest. The beach was a short walk away where we spent some part of every day. On our way home we drove the scenic highway to Mobile. I appreciate your helpfulness in walking me through the vrbo process and for responding quickly to any questions. Our children absolutely loved the gulf and we couldn't ask for any better accommodations.

We're thrilled to be returning for the third summer to our favorite home away from home. This beautiful, stylish condo is always spotlessly clean, has everything we need, and is full of nothing but fantastic memories for our family. Closest condo to the beach, easy to cross the street and you're there...actually closer than a lot of the high rises! Easy parking, quiet low-density up/down duplexes (only five) and we often had the pool to ourselves. We love to cook and they have everything we need in the kitchen....the little store behind the condo (literally a few steps) has the best slushes! Very nice couple to deal with and we can recommend this condo without any reservations. Can't wait for our vacation in Gulf Shores....you can be as active or as lazy as you want and fun is guaranteed!

Great Trip to the Gulf!

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation to Gulf Shores in late July. The accommodations were great – very clean, comfortable, quiet and just a stone's throw from the beach. Very convenient. It was unfortunate to see the drop in tourism in the Gulf Shores area because of the oil spill, and the subsequent bad press. We enjoyed several fine, relaxing days at the beach, and the kids loved the pool at the condo! I highly recommend a visit to Gulf Shores, especially if you can stay at this condo.

My family and another family rented the Weaver Beach cottage and the photos don't do it justice! The furnishings were gorgeous and the condo was super CLEAN. You won't need anything but your beach towels as the Weavers have just about anything you could dream of. Our girls loved that there was a Wii at the condo and brought all their favorite games to play. Rick was great to work with and we will be visiting again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Perfect home away from Home

The Weaver's are an absolutely delightful couple to rent from. We could not have been more pleased or welcomed anywhere. We truly felt like we were at home in this wonderfully comfortable and convenient beach home. They were so accomodating to an urgent need we had to find a large home quick due to another propery failing us. They were so pleasant and set us at ease since we were there for our beach wedding with family. The house is warm, comfortable and inviting. We do cook a lot and had to for our small reception and there is nothing we could want for. The kitchen is fully stocked and amazing. The house is large, plenty of room for everyone to get away and have quiet time if needed. The deck is incredible and well furnished and we spent many mornings and evenings enjoying the outside. The pool is visible from the deck and you can see your older children without a problem. The beach is right across the street and the wagon made hauling things so much easier. you can see the beach from the kitchen and is wonderful. There is nothing you cant find here at the Weaver house. Everything you have at home is here and you will feel at ease. There was even a grill to cook out with. WE will DEFINITELY return over and over again. We hope everyone takes note of how wonderful this home is. Thank you Weaver family for giving us a more enjoyable vacation.!!!! The Riggins Family

Our family was looking for a location that was close to the beach but affordable. We were thrilled when Weavers had availability. One thing not mentioned in the other reviews is the wagon they provide you -- really handy for the dad stuck carrying everything to the beach. Our vacation in June was when the oil impact was at its high point and rain was pouring from T.S.Alex. We spent a good portion of the week in the duplex cooking, playing games, reading and enjoying every minute of it. Spend a week here and you and your kids will fall in love with it!

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.

My family and I originally found this place by my searching VRBO. All I can say is WOW! We had an amazing time. The description was very accurate! The ocean is literally across the street from the Duplex. They had beach chairs, and swim toys. We purchased a cheap umbrella at one of the souvenir shops for less than 10 dollars! The place was fully stocked! We came home with most of what we bought b/c they already had it. My kids loved Pier 33, infact they went to it every night after the beach...Between candy, snacks and suovenirs they were in heaven! (They have the BEST slushes ever!) We also found Super Walmart literally 10 mins away---We made sure to visit "The Track". We spent the day playing mini golf, bumper boats (which get you really wet!) the 3 story wooden Go Kart Track and a bunch more. Even a track for the little guys to drive by themselves! The Zoo was really close as well...which coming from a state(MO) that has one the Best Zoo's in the United States, I was honestly not sure I wanted to go. We are so glad we did! My daughter got to hold a Baby Joey in a sack, pet lots of different animals, she had a blast...Actually we all had a great time!... Unfortunately while we were there my daughter came down with a illness, I had just gotten over before we went on vacation- so we ended up visiting the Urgent Care in Gulf Shores (10 mins away) I couldnt believe how amazing the staff was! I honestly wanted to move here just b/c of the doctor alone that treated her! Pensacola FL is only a hour away...The airport is small and easy to get around. There is a lot to do, and a ton of places to eat. De Soto's had the best Crap Legs and a awesome lunch price on them!!! LULU's (Lucy Buffets) was amazing! Just minutes down the road. We sat near the water (intracoastal waterway) and saw 2 Dolphins swim by! We also watched 4 or 5 dolphins playing out in the ocean one afternoon just days before we left! You can Parasail, Scooter around town on scooters...its endless. We went for the beach, but found so much more to do!!! We cant wait to go back. PS. The bed was so comfortable, (One day) I spent a entire day napping while the rest of the family spent the afternoon down at the pool!

Immaculate home, it was all that it said it would be. The Weavers are very accommodating and personable who aims to please. This is a wonderful place to stay! Convenient location for shopping, ocean, etc. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to use for preparing meals. Thank you for making our summer vacation memorable.

Our family enjoyed the beautiful decorated townhouse. It definetly has a beach house comfortable feel we all loved. The pier 33 groceries store is 25 feet away so convient with a wide varity. The pool area is great for a little dip,with chairs and loungers. Sorry for bugging you with all my questions, but are stay was perfect. Looking for another visit in the future.

This summer, I brought my wife & two small children to this condo. I was taken back by the modern beauty once inside, which was a nice retreat over the more traditional "beach scene" interior of most condos at the beach. The kids loved the condo as well, almost more than the adults. Besides a Nintendo Wii, there were plenty of toys & a nice kids room. The back balcony was a nice place to wake up & enjoy a cup of coffee before the all day job of beach & pool with two small kiddos. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to use over the course of a few days up to several weeks, if not months. Only a stones throw away is Pier 33, which is a mini-grocery store. A recently opened family oriented restaurant is just two miles away, named The Hangout. I would come back to this condo every summer if not booked already. The owners are very polite & take great pride in their property.

A Beautiful Beach House it is!! The feel of this home is fresh and beautiful. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Everything you could possible want is in this house, especially in the kitchen (our neighbors were jealous)! There wasn't anything we needed or wanted. Thanks for making our fall vacation memorable and beautiful.
