Welcome to the exquisite Dragon House, so named because the four dragons on the roof bring good luck to anyone staying at the home. This three bedroom, three bath home has panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Situated on a bluff front lot, with no obstructions to your view, this home has been completely remodeled and updated.
The home is furnished with antiques and stained glass. The master suite has a lanai overlooking the ocean and a private den with computer and TV. The master bath has a whirlpool. The two bedrooms downstairs have their own lanais with ocean views, One has a queen-size bed and one has twin beds that can be combined to a king. They both have TVs and one has its own VCR.
The kitchen area faces the ocean to make it fun doing the dishes. It has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and all appliances and pots, pans, and dishes that you will need. Even the plates are filled with Island scenes.
The dining room seats six and the views of the ocean are fantastic while you are eating.
The living room is comfortable and cozy - for enjoying a book or watching TV or listening to the DVD player A flick of the switch lights up the stained glass over the fireplace at night.
Venture out onto the lanai and enjoy the views, read a book while lounging in a comfortable chair, have lunch with a view of the whales, or enjoy a sumptuous dinner you have prepared on the barbecue with the freshest seafood available from the Hanalei Fish Market.
Last trip I saw a double rainbow over breaching whales while sipping wine on the lanai. Pure heaven. I did not even mention the cruise ship passing by.
If you find the desire to go outside, the grounds are manicured and lush with mature landscape and local trees. You are a moment's walk to the end of the bluff to enjoy sunsets over Bali Hai or view the private beach - which is accessible by a short walk down the bluff.
From the moment you pull into the driveway, you will be protected by the dragons on the roof which are each four feet long with stained glass eyes and fins. They will bring you good luck. Everyone who stays at our home wants to come back. You are invited to read our guest book of glowing reviews.
