Our house is tucked away on Wood River Drive in peaceful, convenient West Ketchum. Warm up your legs and save gas at the same time by walking 12 minutes to the River Run lifts/ hiking trails/ fishing access. Or start your day with a newspaper and hot drink at Perry's, a local favorite offering breakfast and lunch, less than 9 minutes on foot from our front door. If winter ice skating/ hockey or summer park activities (including tennis and playground) interest your group, Atkinson Park offers these free of charge, right in the neighborhood. Finally, everything in Ketchum's downtown core is within 15 minutes on foot.
Our 2600 s.f. home accommodates 6 active people beautifully. And if kids can double up in the queen-sized bunk bed, the house handles as many as 8 just as well. Meanwhile, our enormous 2-car garage provides ample storage for two vehicles, skis, bikes, golf clubs, kayaks, or anything else you bring. For nordic skiers, we also have a terrific waxing set-up in the garage.
All floors, including the garage slab, are heated. Domestic hot water supply is on demand and "bottomless". You'll also find high quality bathroom fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, countertops, and kitchen/ laundry appliances. The well-equipped kitchen is spacious and bright, allowing many to help with meal prep. And if the great room is the hub of activity, insulated interior walls and floors ensure peace and quiet for the rest of the house.
If you require additional space, a charming 1-bedroom cabin is often available next door.
