  I would highly recommend the PE palace for any bachelor party or large party trip in general. The house had more than enough space inside, garage and driveway to fit multiple vehicles. House well very well taken care of, well suited with kitchen appliances and supplies. PE palace is close to both 50 and 89 in case you are looking to travel around the lake. Also, PE palace is only a 10 dollar cab ride from downtown. Finally, it never took more than a few minutes to get a response from management. For the price, I would HIGHLY recommend this house, or any run by this company.

  I booked this house for a bachelor party of about 16 guys and we couldn't have been happier. It slept all of us with ease, had plenty of rooms for pockets of friends to get together or get away if needed, the main room upstairs was plenty large to allow more than one cook in the kitchen and the spa/game room were clutch. Adam and his wife Wendy were a breeze to work with and that made the experience that much more delightful. I would recommend this cabin any time of year for a large group looking to enjoy all Tahoe has to offer.

  We recently had a college friend reunion (we're all in our 30's) in Lake Tahoe and rented this gorgeous home! We have rented approximately 15-20 different homes and apartments through VRBO over the years, and I believe this was the cleanest, most spacious, and most true to the owner's description. This house is immaculate!! The kitchen was stocked with every kitchen gadget we could have possibly imagined. There is a stellar game room with old school Pac Man and air hockey. The main living room off the kitchen provided plenty of seating for game nights, conversing, and watching movies! This house was truly a find in beautiful Lake Tahoe! We hope to stay here again in the future!

  Our stay was great. It was a group of 15 and room for everyone. We were amazed at how beautifull and how much detail that put in this house. BEAUTIFULL!!!! I would love to stay here every year. Was the listing description accurate regarding the location? YES it was! Very close to everything. Did the listing photos accurately reflect the rental’s appearance and amenities? YES it did! Was the property clean and well-maintained? YES! Was the owner helpful in answering your questions or concerns? YES! And I had a lot of questions. Wendy was very nice and patient with me. Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative? YES! I already have. Many of my friends and family saw the pictures and fell in love.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We had a get together of 18 family members at this terrific property. The location is on a quiet cul-de-sac close to all the Tahoe activities. We spent a lot of time together in the large kitchen and family room preparing meals and sitting around catching up, while the children spent hours in the game room. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more. Everyone was very impressed with the home. We hope to return for another reunion in the future.

  We needed a place to offer as a retreat to 16 of our volunteers. They give their time, energy and sometimes money to be big brothers and big sisters to the youth of our community. Pony Express Palace was indeed a retreat and a wonderful thank you to our volunteers. The beautiful welcoming exterior to the warm and extravagant interior. It was a winter wonderland for sure! The house is beautiful, big, perfectly located to make you feel you are surrounded by snow and forest, but just a short (4min) drive to town. It was exactly what we were looking for and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us to stay in one of your beautiful cabins!

  WOW!!! I just got married last weekend and we stayed at Wendy's beautiful lake tahoe house. First off, the customer service was absolutely increadible. Second, the house was extremely comfortable with 18 people. The materials are beautiful, and we could not have been any happier. Thank you for making my wedding so special!!!

  What a stunning property. We share a Lake Tahoe vacation with all our kids and grand kids every winter. Thanks to Adam and Wendy's Pony Express Palace 5, we were all completely taken care of not only in our beautiful rooms, oh so very comfortable beds, but also in the top grade beauty of the tile, granite, bathrooms and what a kitchen. We use VRBO often and trust me, the owners were the kindest people adding to the comfort of our stay. Thank you again for your kindness. Cheryl and Ralph McClane
