This newly constructed and spacious 3,187 sq. ft. townhome is located less than a half mile from the Steamboat Ski Area.
A free shuttle takes you to the ski area base, and to a shopping center with grocery and liquor stores, other shopping and restaurants. the shuttle also connects with shuttles that go to "old" town.
Or, leave your skiis in one of the many storage lockers at the ski area and walk to/from townhome to ski area in less than 10 minutes.
The house is across the street from the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in the summer and the Steamboat Springs Nordic Center for cross-country skiing in the winter.
An outdoor heated swimming pool is available from Memorial Day through Labor Day and two large hot tubs are available year round. All rooms have luxurious furnishings and bedding.

This spacious, 4 Br 4.5 Bath, Wheelchair accessible townhome is a “Half Duplex” with lots of windows and large bedrooms that sleeps 10 comfortably:
- Downstairs King Master, with full bath (Sleeps 2)
- Upstairs King Master, the "Grand Master", with lots of space, double sink bathroom with large shower and jetted tub (Sleeps 2)
- Upstairs Queen Master, with full bath and a private balcony from which you can see the top of the Gondola (Sleeps 2)
- Upstairs "Kids room" has a Queen with a Twin bunk and Twin Trundle (shares full bath with upstairs Family room)(Sleeps 4)
- Upstairs Family Room has a Sofa Queen Foldout Couch (Sleeps 2)
The downstairs is large, open and roomy. The wide entrance opens up to the gourmet kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances (Refrigerator w/icemaker, Microwave, (2) Convection Ovens), and island/bar with four stools and is fully equipped with new cooking utensils. The downstairs living room has a cozy fireplace and a 47 in. TV with a DVD player.
There is also a stereo with multiple CD player, and an input jack so you can play your IPod. The dining area has ample space for eight chairs, but there are extra table leafs and 2 additional dining chairs available.
Upstairs is another big family room with a large wrap around couch and lounge chair. Various games and books are available if you want more than TV (also with HBO) or DVDs.
Also upstairs is separate laundry room, with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.
The attached 2 car garage will keep your car warm, has ski racks, Weber charcoal grill and a Stairmaster. Easily room for one large vehicle inside, plus 2 cars in the unit driveway and additional off-street parking across the street.
Stay connected with your office with the free Wireless Broadband Internet. It works great on my laptop throughout the unit, though I am not always sure that is a "good" thing....
Just 100 yards or so from the front door is a shared recreation area, with a heated pool and 2 large Hot Tubs. There are outdoor tables, chairs and loungers, and large men's and women's bathroom/changing rooms. The area is secure with a fence and locked door, that you will have the access code for.
We have no wired phone, so bring your cell phone. If you feel this is a significant deficiency please let us know.
We are in an excellent location for both winter and summer. Located 1/2 mile from ski area, ¾ mile from grocery stores we are between the ski area and "old town". Getting anywhere you need is either a short drive, easy walk, quick bike ride, or free shuttle in winter.
There are beautiful views from the multiple patio/decks, front and back: The Yampa Valley looking SW from the front patio or upstairs deck, and from the back patio or upstairs deck you can easily check weather each morning by looking up at the top of the ski area Gondola.
We don't take credit cards directly, but you can pay with a credit card through paypal by setting up a paypal account (no charge) at the paypal website. I can then invoice you through Paypal.

Why may our rates seem higher? This is a very roomy townhouse not a condo. This means large bedrooms, where you won't trip over luggage, a second roomy upstairs living room for noisy kids or quiet working/reading and a large garage to keep your car snow free and warm. Our unit is almost 3,200 ft sq. which is larger than most 5 or 6 BR Condos. It is new with nice furnishings in a great location. Enjoy Steamboat!

Why the Owner Chose Cornerstone
Steamboat is a great ski area. We get better snow and shorter lift lines than other areas. We also love the back-country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling in the area. The hot springs pool is great fun in the winter.
But visiting during the summer is even better and is why we bought our townhome. There is so much to do for Kellie and I with friends, and with our two girls.
The Cornerstone Townhomes are newly and nicely built. The pool and hot tubs are very comfortable.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The townhome is in an excellant location, sitting a short walk from the ski area, and between the ski area and grocery/liquor stores on the way to town. The free shuttle makes it easy to get the girls to their ski lessons, and friends who visit can come and go as they want.
During the summr it is nice to be closer to town and an easier ride on our mountain bikes to either trails on the mountian or town.
