This cottage was beautifully maintained inside and out. The furnishings were well done and it was so nice to be able to look out the french doors to the deck (we even enjoyed our wine at the little table out there overlooking the garden). The whole family welcomed us and went out of their way to make us feel like family(without seeming imposing in the least). The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom had little extras in case someone forgot something and the bed was very comfy. Also having the hot tub there is very relaxing after a day of hiking. We definitely want to go back again!

You will not be disappointed by this beautiful guest house accommodation, it's pretty little veranda, peaceful neighbourhood, luxurious bedroom, spacious bathroom, comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen. You will be warmly welcomed and you will feel instantly at home. You will have an amazing time and when you leave you will want to come back. You will love it..almost as much as we did..Thanks to Jim and Christine for letting us stay. Can we come back? Stay well. N & J

This was definitely a little slice of heaven tucked into Carpinteria. The photos don't do this property justice. The cottage exceeded our expectations! It was in a quiet location, very clean, and and well maintained. There is a small deck off the living room to have morning coffee or a glass of wine before dinner. The full kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook meals. The bed is very comfortable. Music was fun to listen to with the Bose radio/CD player. Chris and Jim are wonderful hosts, meeting any need you may have. I strongly recommend this property and plan to return myself!

This perfect little cottage is a gem in a great location! It is secluded in the sense that it is very cozy and away from it all, yet close enough to get to everything you would like to see in the Santa Barbara area. Just a short 2 minute drive to a coastal reserve where you can hike, take a walk on the beach and even watch seals play in the water. About 10 minutes away from Santa Barbara with many neat places to explore in between. The owners of the property are absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. If there is anything you need they will provide it and they are happy to provide suggestions about things to do or places to visit. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone wishing to visit Santa Barbara and surrounding areas!!

Thanks so much for making our stay so comfortable and relaxed. The guest house is perfectly appointed and the patio delightful. We really enjoyed our trip to the wineries and Solvang. Santa Barbara's wharf was great for lunch and the Botanical Gardens a nice place to relax and walk. . We'll be telling our friends in L.A. and back in Boston about your guest house. Thanks Again, Michael and Deirdre

We were blessed to call your cabin home for a few days. Refreshed with the simplicity, calmed by the lovely decor and great artwork. The dogs were great ambassadors. We're so glad we ventured beyond Santa Barbara and landed in Carpinteria. We are so grateful for your attentive hosting. Hope to come back and go to church! Catherine Miller
