Welcome to Hibler House in the old Movie Colony Neighborhood. Home to many Hollywood Stars and the former residence of Winston Hibler a well known Disney Producer/Director. We had a great time at the Hibler House. The property description was right on and it was well equipped for our family weekend away. The owner and property manager were very responsive and friendly. We ran out of propane while there and they were quick to bring another tank right away. One note, if you'd like the pool heated plan ahead as it can take a while to get it heated up. And when the pool is heating the spa is not.. :o( Just takes some planning ahead. But otherwise a great place!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.

Excellent property. I would definitely recommend for a golf weekend or any sort of stay in Palm Springs. The property manager and owner were both great and very accommodating.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.

Eight old friends and two babies (under 1) spent a long weekend at the Hibler House. We had the greatest time, and all agreed that the house exceeded our expectations. The salt water pool was wonderful, and there was plenty of everything we needed to be comfortable. We cooked meals there and ate outside which was great. The beds were very comfortable and we loved being able to walk to town. The house was very private and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and hope to make it an annual occurrence.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway.

I booked the property for a golf weekend getaway. The house was perfect for our needs. Very clean & central location for Palm Springs. Plenty of space to accommodate 6-8 people. The backyard is perfect for BBQ and has a very nice area for evening dining or playing a little poker. The pool and spa came in nice to cool us off after a round or two of golf. The owner & property manager were very easy to work with; we'll definitely keep in mind for future trip.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed staying at the Hibler Home. The place was very spacious inside (3 full bedrooms) and outside (front and back yards). The location could not be better, just a few minutes away from the main drag to go for dinner and shopping and you would retreat back to Movie Colony where you would have peace of mind. Very private and with all the possible ammenities. Our favorite activity was loading up the barbie with shrimps and hang in the pool, and at night staring the star from the jacuzzi. Definately home away from home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband, two Corgis and I spent 12 terrific days at the Hibler House. It's in a great location--close to downtown Palm Springs, stores and restaurants. AND, most importantly for dog owners, it is only two blocks from Ruth Hardy Park which is very dog friendly. The house itself was recently remodeled and well equipped, clean and comfortable. There is a local property manager who is very responsive if something does go amiss. The yard is totally fenced and there is a lot of room for you and your dogs to lounge around the pool and relax. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning. Thanks, David!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I just returned from a 6 week stay at Hibler House & would highly recommend it. It was very clean and cosy, and in a great location. It is a short walk from Ruth Hardy Park and a 25 minute walk to downtown. The yard is fully fenced,very private and quiet, making for a relaxing time around the pool.My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely stay at the Hibler House! The house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The walled grounds are perfect. We spent most of our time enjoying the lovely pool and spa. About the owner: This House was Built by Winston Hilber in 1957, Hibler was an Acadany Award winning producer Of Disney Films and Nature Logs. He comissioned Award winning Architect Corneilus Deasy to design the house as their Vacation getaway. Hibler's Movies Posters and DVD's Adorn the house along with Photos of Hibler and the House Provided by the Hibler Family

The Movie Colony is a snapshot of the history of Hollywood's great all time stars. This was the get away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood life. Houses in this neighboorhood are larger private estates. Check out the eclectic mix of architecture styles from Spanish to Mid Century Modern. In this neighboorhood you are walking distance to central Palm Springs Unique shopping and dining destinations. This is the place to be. We spent 5 years looking for the perfect spot to be and this is it.
