This custom-built home will immediately envelope you in woodsy coziness. Everything is wood and stone. It smells great and is very relaxing. Cedar furniture and rustic decor help you unwind and get back to basics.
There are many different living spaces in this home so everyone can spread out! There's a veranda, a large wrap around deck, outdoor table and chairs, numerous deck chairs, an outdoor sound system and best of all a dock with a wide swim and sun platform with room for everyone. Exquisitely comfortable, pillow-top mattresses in two of the rooms and 4 bunk beds in the second guest room invite you and your guests or children to catch up on the sleep you've been missing. You'll be surrounded by beautiful woods and will be just minutes from swimming, boating, hiking, numerous waterfalls, Helen GA, Clemson University (Fall Football!), and white-water rafting.
Board games, a 42" wide-screen TV, satellite and a great indoor / outdoor sound system insure that you'll be torn between leaving the house or just staying in. Watch out though, if you're like us, you may just feel a little sad when its time to pack up head home!

This is a great place to stay and had everything you would for a good time ,the cabin was as described and was clean and pleasant.The walk to the lake was not very steep as some lake property. nice area of lake hartwell, Chris is very nice and does what he says he will do for you to have a good time . I would recommend to anyone for a very nice place to stay. Gary

The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable....Access to the cabin was very difficult (the gravel roads) and most of the time our car couldn't make it up (leaving the cabin) until after burning the tires and filling up the gravel in the hole the tires made....Also the access to the lake was very difficult and we had elderly people that never made it to the lake...thank you for all your information....the stereo finally started working while we were there...you were a pleasure to deal with and i would definetly recommend your cabin to a young couple or family.
Owner response:We do have a gravel driveway. And the yard leading toward the lake is indeed a little steep for anyone who has trouble walking. But it is perfectly accessible for anyone who is able to walk with ease. Many, many people have stayed here and been able to enjoy the dock and the lake.

We were late booking a house for the 2011 Clemson graduation so we felt the quality of available rentals would be poor. To our great surprise, this house was wonderful; clean and spacious, decorated tastefully and everything seemed so new. This home had everything a getaway place should offer. Whether hanging out on the deck, playing or sunning on the dock, swimming or fishing on the water, finding a quiet spot to read, inside or out or cooking and enjoying a great meal, the house exceeded our groups expectations. Dont let the 30 minute drive to Clemson scare you, it worked out well for graduation. Now we are talking about coming back for a football weekend! Polly and Bob M. Richmond, VA

The description of this house is perfect! We loved staying here. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was nice to know we had such a beautiful place to come home to after a fun day on the lake. After waking up the first morning, we couldn't stop talking about how comfortable the beds were! If wasn't for our own babies, we would've slept like babies. :- ) The owner, Chris, was great to work with. If I had any questions he always got right back with me immediately. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun, clean, place to spend your getaway on Lake Hartwell.
