It is suggested to hire a car to discover Jamaica since the house has secure gated parking for two vehicles plus a Texaco gas/petrol station is nearby to power your Caribbean adventures. Automatic air conditioned car rentals with the sound track of Jamaican radio and lively chat shows against the backdrop of beautiful coastline roads and tropical valleys is highly recommended. BBC Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson would probably say get lost in paradise and only use satellite navigation if you're running low on fuel as country driving in Jamaica brings back the joy of motoring with hardly any speed trap cameras for miles. Bring an international driving licence and take sharp blind corners slowly for smooth cruising.
Bogue Village is 5 miles 8 minutes drive from the Gloucester Avenue's “Hip Strip” for the world famous Doctors Cave Beach, noted for its crystal clear turquoise waters and near white sand. In addition, Margaritaville for exciting entertainment, a lively atmosphere and delicious food.

This house was an absolute disappointment. This is the first vacation I have had to work meaning cleaning a house so my family would be able to even take their shoes off or to put a bag down. What is advertised was not what I paid for. There is no cable serve and the TV does not work even more frustrating with a child. There isn’t even a knife to peel an orange or a glass to drink a cup of water. The toilet looks as though it had not been cleaned in months. The shower had to be clean before we could stand in there with our flip fop. There was no cooking gas or even a tank without me complaining before I got it. There wasn’t a microwave for a few days. In addition to the unclean house there is also peeling paint and this is difficult with a young child. The security for this house is awful. The inside security gate for the front door does not have a latch to lock. The front door lock does not work properly. The wind closed the front door shut and I left the key inside but was able to pick the lock with a butter knife. This was not a sudden arrival to the owner once the payment was made. Common sense would dictate that I would not pay for a rental if I wasn’t going to be there. The care taker was aware of the date we would arrive in Jamaica because he informed us once we called him in Jamaica that he would not be around to give me the key so he left it under a rock in the yard. Furthermore the property as you can see from the pictures is poorly maintained and falling apart. The issue was not just the cable not working the TV in the house did not work. The cooking gas was not available for several hours until I complained to the trip advisor and the owner who I had to call in England. I did not have a microwave for several days not several hours. The care taker is a pleasant person who explained to me that he informed the owner of the issues with the property but they are not willing to maintain the property. The place was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. Rooms were cool and water was hot! Big plus in Jamaica. Appliances worked well. Would definitely stay again. Manager was very courteous and helpful. Great stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were out most of the day touring. They showed us around everyday. We like to wash our towels and swimwear since it is used many times. We stayed in this property for 5 days, it's a nice little house in Bogue village, close to the airport and the hip street. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The property managers were very helpful and accommodating. They picked up and dropped us off on time at the airport. We had a good time.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

This was my fifth stay at this home. The caretakers were on time to pick me up from the airport and they are always kind and accommodating. The home is very clean and well kept. All amenities that are needed are there; internet, washing machine, TV etc.... I rented a car in Montego Bay during my stay this time and getting to and from the home was easy! The weather was beautiful and the experience is always memorable. Thank you again for a great time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Everything was clean and well-kept and the neighbourhood was really quiet and friendly. The manager was great and we enjoyed meeting them as well. We appreciate the prompt and courteous airport transport. The house is in a great location, so we can easily navigate all over. Thanks for making our stay comfortable. The Internet connectivity is super fast! We went to Sumfest, it was a very positive/uplifting experience - I will never forget it!
