Location: Bear Valley, Gold Country & High Sierra, California, USA (3.5 Hrs from Oakland Airport and 2.5 Hrs from Reno Airport.)

This well appointed condo is located in Bear Valley Village. The roads are always plowed and accessible in the winter, and the building has a private parking lot.

Winter enthusiast this condo caters to the cross country skier offering the access to the most extensive cross country ski trail system in California and for you down hill skiers leave your SUV at the condo shuttle up and ski home. For those who want the winter wonderland experience there is plenty of sledding and snow to go around. For the more adventurous there is snow mobile rental across the trail.

The ski resort is 2.25 miles up the highway. No one is any closer. There is *no* lodging at the resort. There is also a free shuttle, that I highly suggest, leaves from in front of the Valley Lodge, 5 min. walk across the back trail on Bear Valley Road behind condo, every morning on the hour. Weekends, there is also an 8:30am and a 9:30am shuttle. The shuttle returns from the resort on the half hour until 4:30pm.

(If you want to ski-in and you know what you're doing, you can get an end-of-day bonus by skiing Home Run back to the condo. Please do not attempt this unless you are familiar with the area. People do get lost!)

IN THE SUMMERTIME:

Superb hiking in all directions.

Great boating, kayaking and fishing at the beautiful Lake Alpine, Spicer Reservoir and Stanislaus River, as well as swimming at Bear Lake.

The week long Bear Valley Music Festival is a great event.

This two-story end unit condo, overlooks beautiful sequoias, has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one room, a double bed in the next room, a sofa sleeper in the living room and the newly remodeled bathroom.

The first-story has a living/dining area along with a kitchen. There is a brick insert pellet fireplace, a big flat screen TV with DirecTV, DVD, CD, and all appliances including a Coffee machine, microwave, toaster, and pots and pans etc. Also, there are utensils, plates and cups. In the spring/summer/fall there is an accessible gas BBQ on the right side of the building outside on a bricked patio with a table and chairs for entertaining. The sofa has a hide-a-bed.

There is a washer and dryer in building.

- * Cancellation policy: Cancellations out side of 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund less a $150 Cancellation Fee. Refunds for cancellations within 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date are subject to re-rental of the Unit less a $150 Cancellation Fee. Should the unit be re-rented, all deposits are forfeited. If the Unit is re-rented fro any portion of the original booking dates, the refund shall be calculated based on the re-rental revenue generated. There will be no refunds given for conditions beyond the control of the owner which prevents guests from arriving or departing on their reservations dates. Such conditions include, but are not limited to , weather, road conditions, sudden illness or personal emergencies.
Suitability
- No Pets Allowed: Guest who violate this term will be fined $500 and subject to vacate the premises immediately, forfeit deposits and all rental fees.
- Smoking Not Allowed: The Unit is non-smoking, A minimum fine of $200 will be charged if it is confirmed a guest has smoked in the Unit. Each Unit is inspected prior to arrival and after departure by our housekeeping vendor.
