This unit needs upgrading. Noisy bedroom fans, damaged shutters made sleep difficult. Toilets and tubs did not drain well, remotes didn't work even after batteries were changed, missing door knobs electrical outlets with no covers and other problems. The TVs are from the 80's or 90's. To make matters worse, we had to wait 2 months to receive our damage deposit back after we were told there were no problems. The unit should be offered at a steep discount - 20 to 30% - to what other 2 bedroom units are asking.

We had a wonderful time her in #204! We watched the Whales everyday while we drank our coffee on the lanai. Beautiful weather! Thanks for letting us rent your wonderful unit while in Maui, it was great! We hope to come back next year! Mahalo, The Burns

Unit short on amenities. Phone didn't work. Very small TV in living room--remote didn't work! Air conditioner small and inadequate to cool unit. No sound system at all--couldn't play my Hawaiian CD's. Furniture in living room uncomfortable for relaxing. Lighting in living room inadequate for reading. One of the lamps couldn't be turned on with switch--had to be plugged in each time. Wouldn't stay here again.

We recently spent 8 nights at this condo and would come back in a heartbeat! This is a two-story building and the condo is on the second level. We took full advantage of the facilities - bbq, swimming pool - except for the tennis courts (ran out of time) and everything was well maintained and clean. We never had to wait for any of the facilities. You can watch whales from the lanai. The birds chirp throughout the day and it sounds like they are right there in the room, which added to the charm. The condo itself felt so comfortable that it felt like a second home. We had the doors to the lanai and the front door open when we were in the condo and this allowed the breeze to flow through the condo (hence a/c was not required). The bedrooms are far enough away from each other for added privacy. There is a medical clinic, grocery store, tourist shops, and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is across the street. What really appealed to us was the fact that there are long-term residents in the complex, they were friendly and helpful and it made it feel like we were living there rather than visiting. It was also quiet in the evenings. Our daughter did not want to leave so we are planning on returning for a longer stay next year!
Owner response:Aloooooha, Thank you sooo much for the wonderful review!! We are so pleased that you injoyed all that our Maui Home had to offer. We are so excited that you are all planning your 2nd trip back next year and we hope we can meet you and your family this time. Take care and I look forward to your return!! Mahalo

Our family spent 15 wonderful nights at this Kehei condo. It was beyond my expetation. The unit was clean, big and located on the second level, with nobody above us.You wake up for the calming sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and the birds singing. The view from the balcony is fantastic, you can watch the whales jumping out of the water. The pool and the garden was well maintained. In the unit behind the main door there is a closet full of staff, like boogie boards, bamboo mats, beach chair and umbrella, tennis raquets and ball, etc. Our host was very welcoming and helpful with information about the area and activities. The condo is located a short walking distance to a 24 hour food store, lovely little resturants and Kameole I beach.Best fish and chips is at Alexander's,best breakfest at Kehei Cafe. The snorkeling is great at almost any of the closeby beaches.Best guide book is called Maui Revealed ,highly recommend to read it,but if you enter the pool area there is a little cabinet on the wall with magazines and books to read and there is a copy of it you could borrow. If you want to sign up for guided trips watch out that they will try to get you to go to a timeshare presentation first.Go with the smaller companies that doesn't pack a lot of tourist on the boat.We didn't do a lot of these just the Molokini snorkel which was great. We went to see the Iao Needle in the Iao Valley State Park, which was ok but if you like flowers and plants do stop at the Maui Tropical Gardens just a little ways down from the State Park .Best 5 dollars I've ever spent. It's not just local plants and flowers but from all around the world.I also took great pictures there! Wailaku is a great little town with a lot's of history and a french bakery, cafe where the food is to die for. Thank you for everything,we loved it there and we hope to be back one day!
