"Sandrock" is located on a private sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean in the heart of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park within ten minutes drive of nationally ranked Highlands Links Golf course designed by the renowned course architect Stanley Thompson.
Our summer home is fully furnished with all necessary linens and comforts of home. The kitchen is fully equipped for ready use. There is a comfortable large, bright living room and dining room with an ocean view. A screened porch extends from the dining area onto the deck. An open deck faces the water offering a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and also wraps around the west side of the house. The location is well suited for relaxation and enjoyment and is not visible from any main highway.
The comfortable master bedroom with double bed, dresser and large closet has a private bathroom with shower. A second bedroom is home to a pair of twin beds and the third bedroom is furnished with two sets of bunk beds. The main bathroom, with tub and shower is adjacent to the two hallway bedrooms.
The maximum number of occupants for Sandrock is six guests. The attached pictures best show the overall property and cottage. Additional images are available by email.
We expect guests to treat our summer home as we would - use and enjoy but not abuse or cause damage.
Rental is on a weekly basis only from Saturday to Saturday.
- Check in after 3:00 pm, to be vacated on the departure day by 10:00 am.
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking with balance due 60 days prior to arrival date.
- A damage deposit of $500.00 is required 30 days before arrival.
- Cancellation prior to the 60 days before arrival incurs a administrative fee equal to one half of the deposit fee.
- Cancellation between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival incurs a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the rental.
- Within 30 days, the rental fee is not refundable.
- The damage deposit is always fully refundable if the rental does not proceed. We strongly encourage trip cancellation insurance.
