We just returned from our first trip to Grand Cayman after staying at this property for the week prior to Easter and all we can say is WOW!. Great place, just as pictured, super location on Seven Mile Beach. Fabulous beach. Very quiet unit. Close to some excellent restaurants and Georgetown. Complex is very well maintained. Ladies in the office were most accommdating but just not available all hours. If you need to make any excursions, you can always walk down the beach to the hotels and use their services. Most times we were the only ones at the pool. If you are looking to beat the Marriott crowds and overpriced hotels, you cannot beat this place. Even when cruise ships were in and visiting the bar/grill next door, this unit did not have any noise factor. I just can't say enough good things about this place. We easily got around the area with Cayman's buses or walking. No need to really rent a car unless you want to travel to far side of island. No hassles on the beach either. If there was one issue, it would be that the resort doesn't have a lot of shady spots but the condo has everything you need to have a great stay. We were able to arrange all sorts of activities easily. Make sure to book a snorkel trip...corals and fish are sooo much better away from shore but there is a great snorkel area right out front of the resort and the Marriott just down the beach has an artificial one that has lots of fish early in am before everyone is in the water. Saw, turtles, sting rays and barracudas. You must definitely see the Stingray City with Captain Clinton. Not only did we snorkel with the sting rays, we got to hold a large tailess one named Frisbee, just amazing time We made two other stops and Captain Clinton dove to get fresh conch, and made the freshest marinated conch salad I've ever tasted AND gave everyone an beautiful conch shell souvenier. Super customer service. Also make sure to check out Cinboco restaurant and Al Kebobs both just 1 block from the condo....We also liked Coconut Joe's for cheap eats and great breakfast values. Avoid breakfast at the Marriott---ripoff at $18.00 pp. Cinboco is an small restaurant featuring daily specials with an Asian fusion twist that is just outstanding. Never really crowded, super food. Al Kebobs is pitas and skewers from this tiny storefront. Can't beat the price and foods was fabulous. Kudos on a wonderful condo!

My husband and I just returned from our annual trip to Grand Cayman and had a wonderful trip! The past 4 years we've stayed in hotels along Seven Mile Beach and this year we decided to rent a condo. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cayman Reef Resort. The resort is in the heart of the SMB beach area so very close to town and to all our favorite restaurants. The grocery store is close enough that we were able to stock up on water, breakfast items and snacks to enjoy. The unit we stayed in was well-appointed and we were very comfortable. The beach is so close and the others staying at the resort were friendly and we enjoyed meeting people from around the country. Highly recommend staying at Cayman Reef ... we'll likely try to stay here again next year!
