This condo offered the perfect location for a weekend skiing at Bretton Woods! Access to the slopes was super quick and easy through the shuttle system. We rented our skis from Drummond's, which was close to the mountain as well as the condo so it was super convenient and saved us a little bit of money! Our group of 8 loved the convenient location as well as the superb decor and layout of this condo!! It was a perfect weekend. The skiing was awesome and nothing could have been better than sitting by the fire playing games after a long day of skiing. No one wanted to leave the condo at all!! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and just hanging out! We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the wonderful blessing of staying in your condo home! Working with you was a pleasure as you were always timely in our communication, organized and professional. The condo itself gets 5 stars from our adult family party of 6! The condo was very clean, decorated very tastefully, new appliances and top cookware to work with. The beds were 5-star-hotel-plush ... and we appreciated the special touches i.e. plenty of firewood to enjoy a toasty fire and cocoa! The photos and descriptions were accurate online. The experience with selecting your condo was one of ..."under sell / over deliver." It seemed online that it would be a great place to stay. We were certainly much more than satisfied, even WOWed! We enjoyed having our base location for our Autumn Leaf Peeping adventure from your condo. Thank you so much! We would love to return to stay in your beautiful condo and would highly recommend it to anyone!

What a lovely home and terrific location. We stayed here while in town for a wedding and could not have been more pleased. Spacious, tastefully appointed, beautiful condo community convenient to the resort, the slopes and other outdoor activities. Owner was a pleasure to deal with - prompt, courteous and helpful. We had four couples and the unit accommodated all comfortably and fairly. It would be equally appropriate for a family with kids as there are two separate TV/lounge areas. We look forward to a return visit in ski season.

Our experience was wonderful in renting this condo at Bretton Woods. This unit is well appointed and was perfect for our family of 5. The condo was excatly as we expected it to be from the owners description. The owner was very professional and prompt. The Bretton Woods area is a great destination. Compared to other rentals in the White Mountains we have stayed at this condo is the best value we have seen in a long time !

Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children ages 7, 6, 5 & 3) enjoyed a wonderful August week in the White Mountains. The 3 level town house was the perfect base for our holiday. The bedrooms and bathrooms are big and clean, the kitchen is modern, clean and well stocked with cutlery, crockery and pans and the grill on the deck affords a lovely view while the steak sizzles away. The large finished basement area was perfect for 4 kids to run off their dinner or settle down to a pre-bedtime movie leaving the adults some peace and quiet upstairs! The location is great with amenities (convenience store and restaurant) within walking distance. There was plenty to keep the kids occupied with suitable hiking trails and swimming locations within a 10-15 min drive. Furthermore the dads got to go downhill biking over the road at the Bretton Woods Resort and the mums got pampered at the spa. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this property for a family holiday and am sure we will be heading back there in the future!

This is our 2nd vacation at this property. The owner is a pleasure to work with, responsive, quick to return the security deposit, and the home itself is well maintained and furnished. Other than a few items, the house has everything you need to prepare meals, grill, and a 2nd family room in the finished basement is a nice feature. My wife and I bring our sons up to NH each Summer, and Bretton Wood's in general is a great location as you are about 30 minutes from all major attractions.

We recently traveled from Atlanta & Charleston, SC to Mt. Washington Resort for a family wedding spending a long Father's Day weekend at Shapiro's beautiful townhouse. Arriving late Thursday night we easily found their place with Ken's detailed directions and entered quickly with his instructions. We arrived later then expected to Bretton Woods. I would suggested after exiting I-93 that you do the speed limit on Route 302 especially as you approach Bethlehem. They do have a welcome committee who are anxious to protect you from hitting their local moose. The Shapiro's townhome exceded our expectations. The on-line pictures give you a great idea what to expect however when you actually see the decor and accommodations they are fabulous. After visiting family members in other condos in the area and hearing some unpleasant comments we definitely give the Shapiro's a 4 star - platinum ratings. My adult children decided to make it a fantastic Father's Day extravaganza. We started off with an early tee time at the golf course on Friday morning. Both my son & daughter were playing extremely well. They managed to keep the ball in the fairway. I on the other hand quickly found out that on a Donald Ross course you must stay in the fairway. The rough is brutal and unforgiving. It is so thick that I found a lost golf ball of Babe Ruth. I put it in his locker at the club house. They have a rather unique assortment of celebrity lockers in their lockeroom. We had a wonderful rehersal dinner on the veranda/terrace. It was a breath-taking sunset. Saturday - We got out early and spent the morning doing the canopy zip-line. A great time I definitely recommend it. Cleared my head real quick from the night prior. It was a mid-afternoon wedding with a late afternoon and evening reception. It started with cocktails on the veranda with another perfect sunset, a delightful dinner and dancing the night away. My son & daughter decided that they wanted to golf again for Father's Day and set up an early tee time. I called Ken to see if we could possibly have a later check out. Ken was super accommodating. I would love to take my son's 3 year old triplets to Mt. Washington and I would definitely return to the Shapiro's townhome. The Bretton Woods/Washington Resort Hotel are a fun place for young & old.

We recently got together with a few couples for a weekend getaway and found this townhouse to be an excellent place to stay. The furnishing is very comfortable and in great taste, so we felt like we were home or at least at a friends house. The place was clean and had ample space for everyone. In fact we couldn't believe the amount of space there was in this townhouse. We will definitely return. The owner is very quick in responding to any questions you may have and in returning your security deposit.

We rented this house over July 4th weekend. We spent two days at Storyland and went on a family hike to Ripley's Falls. The house is clean and has a well equipped kitchen to make meals. The house was very comfortable and more than large enough for our group (3 adults, 2 children). Ken was easy to contact and thoughtful in telling us about events in the neighborhood which enhanced our stay.

We stayed here over February break 2010. There were two families -- four adults and four kids. It was perfect. You are a minute drive to Bretton Woods. There is a nice size dining/living area for adults and an awesome basement for the kids. Everyone had a great time. The owner was very flexible and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful time at your house. It was everything we needed for 2 young families. The home is very clean and well kept. It was great having a washer and dryer to freshen up our wet ski gloves and mittens..We did a large grocery order before coming (thank you for the heads up about that) We had all our dinners at the house, with the fireplace roaring, we enjoyed the barbque on the deck..and played Balderdash and the game of LIfe..the adults and kids had a great time and we all will have great memories for a long time to come..hopefully we will be able to schedule a trip back next year. I would highly recommend this home for a memorable ski vacation.

Five high school friends enjoyed our four night stay at this unit. We were pleased with the comfort and spaciousness of the condo. Three floors with two bedrooms on the top floor with private baths, one bedroom on main floor with private bath and one bedroom in basement with private bath. Unit was clean with comfortable beds with nice linens and towels. The kitchen was well equipped (although we only ate breakfast there)and the living areas had good tvs and comfortable sitting areas. When you rent there privately I don't know for sure whether or not you qualify for the amenities of the Mt. Washington resort - i.e, pick-ups for restaurants, skiing (in season), etc. Overall I would highly recommend renting this unit.

It had all of the amenities that you could want, including comfortable couches and beds, a fully equipped kitchen and several large flat screen TVs. The location is a bit remote, but beautiful ... we even saw two moose nearby during our stay!

This condo was perfect. We were traveling with 2 children, 1 teenager, and 3 adults. The condo was so clean, updated kitchen, and great location. We went up to go to Santa's Village, Six Gun City, Clark's Trading Post, and Storyland. The location could not have been better. Its within a half hour of all of these attractions, not to mention its less than a half mile from the Mt. Washington Hotel. I highly recommend staying here! We will be back next summer and maybe for a winter time ski vacation!!

Six of us rented this condo for a weekend. I have rented sveral rooms/condos over the years and travel often. This one was much more well kept (and equiped) than all of them. If you are looking a place to stay that doesn;t feel like a typical war out rental unit, this is the one. Great location!...almost right across the street from Bretton Woods. It was also clean and spacious. Well worth it!

What a great place! Updated and clean. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and much welcome after a hard day of skiing. We brought a Wii and the kids had a blast on the first floor (OK, so did the adults.) We don't usually return to the same place, but will consider coming back here next year.

We just returned from spending school vacation week at the beautiful townhome. We highly recommend it. It was so clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, and then some! Plenty of room for our family (we did not rent the basement and still had lots of room!). The location is great, just across the street from the ski area and rec. center and only a short distance down the road from the stunning Mt. Washington Hotel. This is definitely a place we would return to, and recommend to others. Just a minor detail - plan on doing the grocery shopping ahead of time - there is not a good/big grocery store close by.

This townhome is very nice, welcoming, and comfortable. The fireplace is fully stocked with logs, and makes the place so warm and inviting. It has contemporary decorations, and is very clean and well maintained. I liked the fact that each room connects straight to their own bathroom. There are two huge TV areas with ample couch room. The kitchen is very well equipped, with almost anything you need, you got! It was easy to find, and Bretton Woods ski slopes is only a hop away. I had a great time.

We just got back from a winter weekend at this townhome in Bretton Woods and we had a great time. It's located just across 302 from the Downhill ski area, and just up the hill from the Mt. Washington hotel and XC ski trails. The house is absolutely beautiful - it appears to have been recently renovated with comfy beds, huge couches, a good quality outdoor BBQ grill, and (our favorite thing) a great kitchen with new appliances. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. In 20 years of staying at various houses/condos/townhouses/etc on our family and friend trips, we've learned to bring lots of kitchen stuff (cutting board, knives, fry pan, etc) with us - in this case, we didn't need to bring any of that stuff - then even had a garlic press. The common rooms are huge, and the main floor and basement both have flat screen TV's and DVD/CD player. We spent most of our time hanging out in the main floor main room. Everybody in our group kept raving about how beautiful the house is. This is one of the nicest houses we've stayed in during our years of bike/ski/beach/etc trips. One Note: If you plan to cook (or drink) while you are up there, I recommend you stop at a grocery store on your trip up I-93 - there's not a lot of shopping in the Bretton woods area.
