Owners David & Cindy Gillis are custom home builders, building homes in and around Las Cruces for the last 23 years. This home has all the luxury features and amenities found in the custom homes that they are known for. Special attention is shown in the details of this beautiful vacation rental. When not building homes, they like to spend their spare time riding their Rocky Mountain horses on the 80 acres they own by Caballo lake and taking thier 5 dogs Barney, Annie, Hannah, Baily and Daisy on walks around the farm. They also have a VRBO in Deming and on their ranch by Caballo lake.

Thank you so much for letting us rent your home for Thanksgiving! We loved the location, we would take magnificent walks everyday. We were able to be with all four generations together and spend a much needed time together for a blessed holiday season. Your home was truly a home away from home and found it to be relaxing and elegant! A must to any who's looking for a weekend get away or a week or two vacation.

Had a wonderful two weeks stay in Las Cruces. I believe we were the first to stay in Cindy's lovely new home. The view of the mountains was spectacular and the location very convenient. Hope to get a chance to return again.

This rental was awesome! It exceeded our expectation and was a wonderful place to get away from Nebraska winter weather. The house is immaculate and beautifully appointed. Its location is quiet with beautiful views, yet easily accessible to the area's attractions. Cindy, the owner, is very conscientious with communication and preparation to ensure that her guests enjoy their time in her rental. We highly recommend it!

David & Cindy Gillis built this patio home with exceptional craftsmanship and wonderful attention to detail. The home is so nicely appointed and decorated that it’s quickly apparent that they spared no expense in outfitting it for a rental. Cindy’s creative artist’s eye turned this house into a comfortable home with the overstuffed leather furniture, the luxurious bedding/guest linens, and the well-appointed kitchen that even has filtered ice/water and a coffee bean grinder. We enjoyed spending a week just relaxing in this very special place and our beagle Luke had great fun exploring the secure grassy backyard. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and is conveniently located to everything Las Cruces has to offer. Absolutely the BEST VRBO RENTAL in Las Cruces ... or, for that matter, anywhere else in the Southwest!

This home far exceeded our expectations. We spent Christmas week here (Dec 23rd through the 39th). The house was very comfortable and we truely enjoyed watching movies and the city lights every evening. My wife is from Las Cruces, so it was a nice retreat that we both looked forward to every evening after spending the day with family. This is the first time we have rented a house when we visit. We normally stay at a hotel, but this time we decided to treat ourselves and rent this house.We travel with our dog, so the fenced back yard the dog enjoyed exploring it. We have already started talking about the next time we come we would love to stay here again. Thank You Cindy for letting stay in your lovely home

This house was amazing. Very comforable, all the amenities, and easy to find. I have only stayed at a few VRBO's, but this was the best one. Only place to stay if you in town.

What a beautiful home. Cindy did a tremendous job with the fine touches! This home is warm and has everything in it that you could think of. We enjoyed the porch with the spectatcular view and the fence was a plus for our dog. I went to Las Cruces for treatments. It was so nice to come back to the house and be able to really relax. Thanks again!!

This home is amazing. It looks like a show home but it is wonderfully comfortable. We spent 2 wks there in Feb 2009. While Las Cruces has many fine restaurants (include a great little Irish pub one street away) we often ate in because of the wonderful well appointed kitchen and dining area. The decor (tile, arches, niches, elevated ceilings) are tradional southwestern. It's very gracious and warm. After an afternnon of golf we'd enjoy a glass of wine watching the gorgeous sunset while making a simple meal. Picacho Market (close by) has traditional rellenos, tamales and green chili to make shopping easy. We read, watched a movie, sketched, walked, visited museums, and one of us got a massage. It is a delightful little college town. The spacious comfort of this home made a cold blustery day at home just fine with us. This home has been our best rental experinece to date. We highly recommend it.
