Perfect ! Perfect !
Perfect ! Perfect !
We rented this condo for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Quiet, privite and romantic views of the water. We would go to the pool in the evening and we were the only ones there. Even though the condo was a studio there was plenty of room and the king size bed was great! Easy walk over to the beach and not many people on the beach even at sunset. Everyone was very helpful and freindly. The only problem we had was a cloged sink in the bathroom, we called in the moring and when we got back in the afternoon it was all fixed. We also had a flat tire on the Jeep rental (learned that is not a first in Aruba) and we had to be at the marinia to go out fishing for 7;00. We were haveing problems with the tire the day before so my husband got up at 5:30 am to check it and sure enough it was dead flat. As he started to change it one of the sercurity guys came over and did it for him. I am sure that was not on his list of duties but we were very thankful for his help. Would we return to this condo unit? Yes Yes Yes

Owner response: Thank you for your wonderful comments about your stay in our condo. We make a constant effort to ensure that our guest have a very pleasant stay at any of our properties. Some maintenance issues we just can't avoid until it happens; we are sorry that the bathroom sink got clogged during your stay, and hope that our rapid repair thereof prevented any further discomfort to you. Your note about the friendliness of staff and the Aruban people in general, is a comment that is repeatedly given by tourists that visit Aruba. It is difficult to keep up with this due to the influx of many foreign workers to the island of Aruba, but we keep doing our best to make our island's guests feel at home. We thank you for staying with us, and of course look forward to being your host once again, anytime in the future! Alan.
Great time in Aruba!
Great time in Aruba!
My boyfriend and I stayed at this condo in October and loved it! It was nice to be able to hang out at the pool and be the only 2 people there. But it was also nice to be walking distance from several hot spots and resorts where we could get a quick drink or bite to eat. The room was in great condition and it was comforting to know that we had all we needed at our fingertips. The only thing we had to get used to was 1. The shower faucet was backwards. For days we complained that we had no hot water, not knowing that we were actually turning the handle the wrong way! Duh! 2. There is no door handle on the outside patio door. It took me a few seconds to realize that I was not locked out of the condo, all I had to do was push on the glass. Minor things. The staff was helpful, attentive and friendly. They even did our laundry when we asked them to. All in all, we had a great time. I hope to visit again soon.

Owner response: Thanks for your wonderful review. If it is of any consolation, you're not the only guest that had some trouble figuring out to turn the shower faucet to the left to get hot water; we've had other guests inquiring about this too. As a result, we have now included 'shower faucet use instructions' in our information guide given to guests upon their arrival.....! We are glad to see confirmed the close proximity to all kinds of activities, the high standard of the condo, the tranquility of the resort and the beach, and the hospitality attitude of our people. Thanks again, and we hope to see you once again at Oceania too!

Stayed in this unit March 11th thru Mar 18th. Condo Stayed in a studio which over looks the pool. It was just my wife and I, so there was plenty of room for the two of us. The condos in this complex are all face the ocean (to the west), so they all should have a beautiful view. The pool has alternating colored lights that shine from under the water that looks great after dark. We dined out only in the evenings so used the kitchen quite a bit. Don't recall wishing for anything that wasn't there. The thing we enjoyed most by far was the balcony. Don't think we missed a sunset the week we were there. We started each day there with breakfast and coffee and we ended each day with a night cap looking over the ocean with the moon shining. The only negative we encountered was this unit can be joined to the adjacent unit. There is a door between the units that does not fit the frame very tightly. At times we could hear conversations from the adjacent unit. I think mostly due to how loud the guests in that unit were (we referred to them as the 'Loud Family'). You may have heard there is construction going on in the units to the north. On occasion we would hear muffled constructions noises, but was not a distraction at all. Beach We've been to several places in the Caribbean and this is the nicest beach yet. Very fine white sand and turquoise water. The sand part of the beach is at least 50 yards wide. The beach is across a street from the condos, but really only a few steps from the pool area (guests enter/exit thru a locked gate). The winds blow out of the east here, so with the beach being to the west, waves never get very aggressive. The water goes out fairly gradual with no rocks what so ever. Perfect for swimming. You should be aware there are a few sand burs that blow onto the sand of the beach. Weather Every day was a carbon copy of the previous day. Sunny or light clouds, with a stiff breeze. My opinion, it couldn?t have been better. Overall a great place to stay! Alan, the property manager was also great!

Owner response: Thanks for the great review! We must add that, based on comments before this review, the adjoining door to the one-bedroom condo (which, when open, converts this studio and one-bedroom into a super deluxe two-bedroom) has been completely sealed to avoid any distraction or disturbance from neighboring guests when the units are rented separately. The sound has been tested and is comparable with any neighboring suite in hotels. These condos are in a deluxe, beachfront, all-two-or-three-bedroom condominium resort. Lock-off studio and 1-bedroom condos (and ours are one the very few in this resort) makes this luxury resort accessible to singles, couples, small families and budget watchers; in this resort, this can only be achieved by having an interior lock-off door within a bigger unit (which is the case here), but this door must then be properly sealed for guest privacy. Which is what we've duly taken care of. And the construction works are in the back of this phase, completely separate, out of sight and thus with no hinder whatsoever to guests. We are happy to see this fact independently confirmed in this review by a previous guest. Our motto is: "We treat all our guests as VIP." Opinions are always welcome, and their comments for improvement are always followed up upon with due diligence! We are enthused to see yet another very satisfied guest.
