Our beautiful 3 bedroom (plus queen sleeper), 3 1/2 bath, 2000 square foot custom mountain getaway was completed in 2008 and is only a 1 & 1/2 hour drive from Denver and Denver International Airport. It very comfortably sleeps 8 adults and is located just off the slopes of Sol Vista ski area (formerly known as Silver Creek) in the Granby Ranch development. From our doorstep you can reach Winter Park in 15-20 minutes, Lake Granby & Grand Lake in 15 minutes, Rocky Mountain National Park in 25 minutes and Steamboat Springs in 1 hour & 15 minutes! And of course we are just a few blocks from the ski basin at Sol Vista! Skiing, golfing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and more are literally a few steps from the house or a very short drive away!

Unlike most other homes in the area, our mountain getaway is located in a small subdivision, situated high up the mountain with plenty of privacy; away from busy foot and road traffic found elsewhere! It is also on a rare wooded lot with numerous pine trees and aspen which allow you to enjoy beautiful sunsets on the large deck or sit in the private hot tub without everyone watching you!

We have invested in every amenity possible to make your stay enjoyable and stress-free. No expense was spared on upgrades and amenities including:

The two story floor plan with finished basement also allows large and multiple families to stay in the home quite comfortably. Bedrooms are separated from common living areas and the home has two large family/living rooms for everyone to spread out! There are 2 bedrooms upstairs including a master bedroom with king bed, attached full bathrooom and walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, large closet and a full bathroom right outside the door. The main floor features a large living room with gas fireplace & LCD TV, gourmet kitchen with island and eating area for 8 adults, washer/dryer and a large half bathroom. In the finished basement downstairs you will find another full bathroom, 3rd bedroom with queen bed and a family room with a new queen sleeper and TV with DVD and Xbox 360!!

  • My family and I had a great time in your house. The decor and furnishings was all top notch, and the entire house was very clean and comfortable. The space and amenities you provide when compared to the price make it a bargain of a place to stay. I enjoyed the privacy and security of the house, and my wife and daughter absolutely loved the hot tub. Outside in the tub at night with the house lights off the stars in the sky burst into life; gorgeous. We even enjoyed seeing the many deer moving around through the area. Thank you very much and we look forward to returning again!

  • Wow! What an amazing home....and an amazing place. We enjoyed hiking along the Granby to Fraser trail, surrounded by beautiful Aspens, relaxing in the hot tub and watching the sun set in the distance. This home is just perfect. I'd recommend it to any of my friends....a perfect mountain escape!

  • This is the perfect house for a mountain vacation. The house is like new. It is nicely appointed, from the cozy sofas and comfortable beds, to the well-stocked kitchen, to the benches at the front and garage doors. The deck is perfect for sipping morning coffee and watching the deer cross the meadows, and watching the sun set in the evening. The quiet location is far away from traffic, but close to the grocery store, dinner in Winter Park and hiking in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. There is good hiking near the house also. This house was even better than we expected. Thank you Brian and Brenda!

  • Once again, while in Colorado ~ God filled our senses. The beauty and wonder of His creation filled us with awe ~ and as we relaxed in this beautiful mountain retreat we experienced a welcome quiet in the serenity of the location, an amazement in the breathtaking views, and the most comfortable surroundings that we could have asked for. We would highly recommend this home as a welcome get-away and retreat ~ and hope to visit again.

  • We stayed at the ‘cabin’ over Memorial Weekend. Its not really a cabin but a palace in the hills. The place is amazing. Its location makes it ideal for day tripping to different parts of CO. Grocery stores and restaurants aren’t too far out of the way but it is still remote enough to enjoy peaceful nights in the Rockies. While we were there in the Spring/summer, it looks like a great place to stay at in the winter due the family oriented ski area within walking distance and the other large resorts just a short drive away. We liked it so much we are thinking about coming back sometime in the winter to do some skiing. You can’t go wrong with this place. Its great.

  • Great house with great ammenities. The kitchen was nicely stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable and homey. Close to the lodge and skiing, but far enough away that we weren't disturbed by the activity there. There were four of us - 2 adults and 2 children - perfect size, but we had room for a few more! Brian was a pleasure to deal with. Very professional, prompt and told us exactly what to expect in the home. Great place to stay. Very comfortable. If we are headed to Sol Vista again, you are our first choice!

  • We LOVED the mountain retreat you have so generously shared with us! First of all, the house is BEAUTIFUL, fully- equipped with everything we needed and then some. The only negative thing we found was that we couldn't stay and enjoy it longer!!!!! The proximity to skiing, groceries, and Hot Sulpher Springs was so convenient! We can't wait to book this house for our next get-away to CO! Thank you so much!!!

  • Wow! What can I say! This place is beautiful! My family and I had a wonderful time. We stayed here with another family who have twin 4 year old girls with our 3 year old and baby. The beds were amazing. We slept well every night. We were able to have the basement to ourselves as a family which worked out well for us. Loved the gas fireplace and the hot tub! Warmed us right up! I enjoyed the fact that the place is maybe 3 minutes away from Sol Vista where my son skied for the first time and went tubing. It is a great family place and so reasonable. :) Highly recommend this place! Enjoy!
